Lucas has never expressed any romantic feelings for my in any way shape or form so it amuses me to find that people really think he doesnt like riley and all of it is completely forced and hes really been into maya this whole time. & for them to think vice versa with maya liking him since the beginning and giving him up for riley. If she liked him she could have said that to riley when she pointed him out instead she wanted riley to have him. Just because she saw him first does not in any way make them endgame. Only ones who have expressed feelings audibly is riley to lucas, lucas to riley, and maya to josh. everyone seems to disregard mayas feelings for josh. remember its not a crush it isnt. she knows how she feels. so why is it that now that hes gonna shes suddenly so confused on how she feels. remember girl mees new years her question was is it possible to love two people at one some thought that was aimed towards lucas with maya and riley but dont you think that would have been lucas question if that was the case. Maya ate the card cause it was about josh and lucas. The writers have flat out said its never been a love triangle. What riley and lucas have was really and really good until maya got all confused. Just because she didnt want him to get hurt doesnt mean she has feelings for him. Just because she messes with him doesnt mean she has feelings for him. The perception of something doesnt make it so. That was said right before the class voted maya and lucas cutest couple. Thats when this "triangle" really arose. But its not a triangle. And maya let the perception of her and lucas relationships from others control how she felt as did riley with how maya thought riley and lucas were. Just because riley and lucas are alike does not make them brother and sister. They are actually different in many ways. Thevonly thing alike about them is theyd do anything for their friends. All im saying is it was never a triangle and its always been riley. (-:
This comment made me so happy and it's so true and on top of that the high school promo where Riley and him may have a little bit of a fight maybe, that doesn't define how there relationship is, Cory and topanga had a fight and learned from his parents that you fight cause you love each other it was the episode honesty night. at the same time the writers have said its not going to be the new Cory and topanga, there will be confusion and they will be questioning there feelings, they won't know that they are meant to be since they met but I feel strongly that rucas will be endgame. Besides they brought in a girl for Shawn in boy meets world and Ik that this whole triangle may have even started from the fact that josh got into an accident and wasn't in the show for a little bit because of it, but maybe that's the big plan for them. Maybe maya will be with josh or maybe they will bring a boy in for maya. There are certain storylines I see returning for girl meets world but one I'd like to see is if Kermit, Maya's father, does he he a kid and if so is it Maya's half sister maybe? And Ik the ski resort episode will be returning. In boy meets world that episode tore topanga and Cory apart because a girl took an interest in Cory. Idk what they are planing for this one and I hope the episode is real from what I've read but I hope that Lucas and Maya do share a kiss or something not because I want them together but maybe during that episode Lucas realizes he felt nothing with her as he felt when Riley kissed him. Like how topanga realized she was in love with Cory from a kiss with a guy she met. Maybe Maya feels the same way and starts to figure out her feelings for Lucas or maybe she realizes that she does like him but realizes that he doesn't love her the same way. And this gives an opportunity for josh to come back in and Maya decides to talk to him about her feelings and then when she starts to feel insecure about herself by saying who was she kidding no one would ever like her, josh kisses her and surprises her. How cute. I hope that would happen

I have the exact same dilemma! I used to be so confused as to why people shipped Riarkle, but they're so cute! Now I still ship Rucas, because a part of me always will, but if they aren't end game then I'll need to closure so I can start to fully ship Riarkle.

Ok, so I ship Lucaya but I decided to watch this video because I wanted to at least try to see why people ship Rucas. I don't have anything against them and this video was really sweet. I'm just upset that some people are giving the Lucaya fan base a bad name. We are not all bullies. We are not all childish. And we are not all 10 years old. And to be completely honest I think both Riley and Maya are gorgeous so the fact that I ship Lucaya has nothing to do with looks. I just like they're connection and dynamic better. And I also don't ship them because I think they "met first." I ship them because they're so different from each other and I like that. They balance each other out and make things exiting. But at the end of the day I don't know who will end up with who, and I find it really annoying that people are commenting negative things because let's be honest this video was really nice. We all love the show so can everyone please stop being negative?

Sometimes I don't understand what the writers want, if they want rucas to be endgame then why do they keep cutting their scenes. And I still can't get over the fact that MJ was more focused on Corey Fogelmanis (Farkle)'s reaction to Riley's departure than her own boyfriend. Part of me thinks that if this show goes on longer they will use rucas as a lesson that not all first loves last forever

Yep I've watched alot of "Reasons to ship Lucaya" videos and I'm still a Rucas supporter. I guess I prefer summer rain than "fire." With fire there's that possibility that you'll get hurt and I think that just might happen with all this triangle stuff with Rucas and Lucaya. I honestly can never see Riley and Lucas being brother and sister, let's be honest who treats their brother or sister the way Lucas and Riley treat eachother. No one because siblings tend to be playful and tease one another, just like the way Maya does with Lucas.
This sucks cause if Riley never said that she loved him like a brother (even tho she didn't) then Lucas would've never liked Maya and he would've been liking Riley way more but since she did that Maya and Lucas started getting closer and so he started liking her too (cause he still liked Riley) so that really sucks...... If only Riley didn't do that, she would've had Lucas all to herself...
