I was wondering gon why ZUN would do the the first new guideline thats based on crowdfunding but I kinda get it. Many game that get crowd funding or get put on kickstarter eventually get revealed as scams. Yk the early access game that swear they would release but then they don’t. I can get his fear of being scammed or people getting scammed. I remember pre-ordering battlefeild 2042 and it was the ultimate edition as well. Yk how that game turned out. I just wasted 109.99$ because I was tricked by advertisements, although not by a indie or AA company but by a triple A company EA. ZUN just wants freedom but also to be careful on what you spend your money on.
I'm not sure how much interest there'd be, or if it'd even get approval, but the crowdfunding changes makes me wonder if it might lead to an increase in Touhou board games, as many board games these days use the crowdfunding route to fund a production run at a factory.
This makes me confused about console fan games because xbox does not have any official touhou games but has a fan game that being luna nights. does zun also allow you to put a fan game on all consoles?
I was planning to have one of my own fangames, Touhou Kourinden ~ Mythos of Phantasmagoria, ported to the Nintendo Switch by another developer in my area, but we got into an impasse and I told them this would only be possible if they obtained the rights from Team Shanghai Alice, which was in the plans but never got very far.
First is stage 6 from Touhou 18. The rest is all music from Fangames I’ve made. Songs were arranged by Wookywok and you can find them on his channel by looking at some of the Fangame osts
