The best way I can describe my experience while watching this is as if I was drifting in and out of sleep and missed bits and pieces. It was so rushed, I felt like they cut out parts of the movie to make it shorter lol
There is so much cut from the movie that was in the trailer but it felt like they cut important scenes that ended up making the movie a convoluted mess. So he bends backwards on set infront of everyone breaking bokes and joone mentions it. They just carry on filming.he jumps out of a window and it isn't explained why or what happens. It literally just moves onto a semi related scene to rush to the end of the film. So much promise very little guidance.
This is what threw me off the most! My biggest issue is when he starts acting out on set and everyone just acts like he’s having a regular alcoholic episode? Like he is literally twisting his body, and slamming his head. Previously he was also slamming doors and it was just brushed off. They all just continue with life as if it’s just completely normal, and the daughter continues living with him. I would’ve called an exorcist from the beginning of the movie💀
So this movie, filmed in 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic, fought and struggled its way up from the worm-ridden depths of the earth to vomit itself onto the screen five years later, but Dredd doesn’t get a sequel after 12 long years??? It’s fucking criminal!
The movie had potential but it was so confusing. It’s hard to get into a world when they don’t really explain anything. Like where did the demon come from. What’s it backstory. The jumpscares and it being scary itself were good but the story made no sense.
Saw this on Friday and this film was horrid. The theater I attended had a total of 5 people. At the end, everyone quickly got up and left. I sat in my recliner with my eyes scorched after watching this film. A complete junkyard of a movie.
Did you say “eltse” or “else?” Also, why do all these movies feel the need to make diverse decisions? We had a swg as the lead so we had to mix up the other actors. Of course
I’m a HUGE movie lover/fanatic and aspiring actress. I’ve already watched 16 new releases this year including the Exorcism. This was an ok/mid movie in my opinion but Russell Crowe still gave a good performance in my opinion. ❤❤❤❤
I didn't even know about this I thought you about to review the Pope Crowe movie. 😂 I was like why you gonna review that old film. Hollywood needs to chill with all that damn remakes take a shot on a new idea from a young hungry screenwriter.
