The 1/7/2023 Saw 707 operations operate a Members and invited guests train with A66 leading A62, the later of which is now in the very late stages of reactivation by 707 operations.
After withdrawal in 2014, A62 along with A 70 and 60 sat dormant around South Dynon until 2020 with A60 going SRHC and 62 to 707 operations while A 70 was sent to Newport for further storage in 2020.
The train ran out to the Apex Quarry siding at Kilmore east, where the A class duo ran around the train before making the return back to Newport.
This train also at the same ran as a road test for A62 making sure that the engines works properly and any issues could be pointed out so that they can be rectified.
