Yes Wingsuits are very much real and have been used in TV and film before. There's an incredible wingsuit sequence that I highly recommend watching in Transformers Dark of the Moon.

Wing suits are real. They were used by Special forces before extreme sports athletes started using them. You really can't use them to get to the ground. They can be used to travel great distances from a high altitude jump. Some crazy people base jump with them. There are some insane vids on RU-vid of mountain base jumpers using wing suits.

You are right about the money situation, and that is pretty much how they do it in the comics... each Avenger gets a pay stipend for their service (something like a grand every week, which comes out of a fund set up by Tony).

Also, Red Bull had a stunt wingsuit diver land in a plane while it was flying, so the moment where the wingsuit guy lands in the helicopter is totally doable.

When I saw the new Captain America, when he was announced to the world, I thought he looked a lot like Carl Fredricksen the 78-year-old balloon salesman in the movie UP. That Chin!

I was a little critical of this series when it first came out because it seemed a little choppy. Well it was, they had to cut out one of the major plot points because of the pandemic. Coming back to it years later and I really do like it. The big fight scenes are right up there with some of the best of the MCU. (Talking about choreography and CGI).

To make things easy to understand with Sebastian Stan’s age and everything, he spent about 3 years total unfrozen as the Winter Soldier, to where he was about 1 year older than Steve when they were originally separated in 1945 and 1 year older than Steve when they saw each other again in 2014.

Great reaction Emme, and thanks for not bundling the reactions to all the episodes together in one or two videos. I couldn't imagine trying to fill the shoes of a literal super soldier. The pressure to do a good job and not sully the Captain America name must be intense.

They are the most bad-ass paramedics in the world.

I always thought it was odd that Sam couldn't get the loan...I get that they were trying to show the regular man problems that he has but lets be honest...If the MCU were real and an Avenger who saved the world came into your bank there is no way he wouldn't be able to get a small business loan...If not that small town bank then a big one...hell, someone could make hima gofund me and he'd get plenty of cash...lol

Hey, Emme! Chronologically set in 2024 after "WandaVision" and "Eternals" in 2023, immediately following "Shang-Chi" but before "Moon Knight" and "Far From Home" in 2024. The phenomenal opening sequence with paragliders was reminiscent of those pre-title action set pieces in Bond movies! Georges St.-Pierre, UFC welterweight champ, reprised his role as traditional Cap villain BATROC THE LEAPER; we last saw him as the Algerian pirate leader in "Winter Soldier". JOAQUIN TORRES, the future Falcon from the comics, is introduced! Very good first episode that sets a realistic tone for the series. The Blip turmoil is reminiscent of 'rona turmoil. SAM declines Cap's burden and bequeaths the shield to the Smithsonian. Nice RHODEY cameo. Interesting peek into Sam's personal family life in the deep South. In the comics, he's from Harlem. Being an Avenger won't buy you a cup of coffee, much less guarantee you a bank loan! Vicious Winter Soldier nightmares has BUCKY in government-mandated therapy as part of his pardon deal. His public 12-step program has him making amends by legally and non-violently taking down scoundrels he propped up. His private method of expiation is to cozy up to his victims' next of kin and flagellate himself with guilt. Sheesh! FLAGSMASHER is transformed from an individual villain as in the comics into an anarchist organization whose ideology glorifies the borderless state of the world during The Blip. They use social media to gather flash mobs who wear masks with red handprints to serve as diversions for precision stings that are accomplished by ENHANCED OPERATIVES! JOHN WALKER, the future USAGENT of West Coast Avengers and Force Works, played by Wyatt Russell, is introduced as the new Cap! If you'd like to learn more about Sam and Bucky's comic history either before the series is finished or after it's over, I strongly encourage you to check out RU-vidr James Hancock's primer on his channel "Geekin' with James Hancock". Hancock knows his stuff and the showrunners obviously did their homework!

This show missed. It had a chance but they got scared and took out the vaccine and virus story line. IMO this is the start of Marvels phase 4 suck fest. Too many changes and too many ppl involved.
