That's so true. That's part of the reason why he's such a good smash commentator I think, his voice is just mad fun to Listen to! It's also part of why his Podcast is so good!

It's called "How did we get here", and coney and alpharad semi-regularly upload episodes where they have a topic the ep is about and then they just completely derail the conversation and at the end they ask themselves "how did we get here", hence the name. It's great!

Also like both there were others who did it successfully before them. Like the Playstation did cloud gaming too, before Stadia. This isn't a VR situation, it's been done.

The difference is that fighting games are nowhere near as big as CoD I guess. So at that point the FTC has to step in. But yeah it’s the exact same thing

@@DesTr069 While a big difference, timed exclusives would create levels of irrelevance. So when the time ended if you weren't buying on PC, why would you buy for an Xbox? Then there was stuff like Destiny making weapon exclusives and year 1 weapons irrelevant with introduction to Year 2 weapons. Cod also had timed exclusives so Sony would use these to hold control of a market while not outright buying them. Timed exclusivity makes a hell of a difference due to the known lifespan of cod games, while only a month that's more than enough time to collect the greater playerbase. As shown by them purchasing Destiny, it wasn't above them. Sony pushing and getting started what is now the triple a standard of $70 games isn't helping
