Growing up in America, we would see these "Peel Sessions" records and wonder what it was all about. Eventually, internet download speeds caught up with my curiosity and I spent several blissful months listening to the greatest music, often at the wrong speed. I remember Peeley going on that Peruvian vacation. I remember the guest DJs. I remember my friend Gina emailing me that John Peel was dead. (She also informed me that Joe Strummer died)
