The fallout of Nigeria's

In October 2020, thousands of young Nigerians took to the streets, demanding 'EndSARSNow!' They called for the end of police brutality and took their protests across various states in the country. The demonstrations gained international attention and support until the infamous shooting at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos, where at least 12 people were killed.
In many countries across Africa, massive youth-led demonstrations have almost always ended in violence. But are African leaders ready to listen to the protesters?

Thank you DW & the 77% team for helping African youths air their views and amplifying their voices. The #Endsars protests will forever remain one of the greatest events of all time that kept the Nigerian goverment on their toes.

Time for what? If it can't be summarised in 2 sentences, then nobody will have time or energy to understand a longer series.

I was enjoying the statement of the police officer, not until he started defending the atrocity being carried out by the Nigerian army

I visited Nigeria, an overcrowded country with incredible corruption & tribalism. Unfortunately, with a culture based on lack of integrity, this country will not progress. A very bad country, with little to no opportunities.

Yes we have our problems and we shall solve them with a new generational mindset and values. Nigeria is progressing through individual efforts. We have abundant opportunities.... guess the reason you came.

@@benardsundaytv5469 We will Progress. This is just the mindset of a foreigner who believes a failing African nation has the inability to rise back up. Nations fall and Nations rise back, basic History.

I'd really like to hear your suggestion for this type of a country, Nigeria. First, we are made of about 300 different ethnic groups speaking a total 500+ languages. Second, we never envisioned forming a country. Each tribe just lived and traded separately. Some time 1800's white men came around did their slave trade thing, but by 1914 decided they must mash us to form one country because we're black. But we do not see ourselves as black and as far as we're concerned, we have nothing in common with each other. The white men did leave us with English language which they forced down our throats. And thankfully, we are able to understand this RU-vid video and talk to and understand each other. But that doesn't still make us friends. The Nigeria Police and our politicians are basically continuing on from our British colonist, "forcing" people to comply and fall in line or else, face deadly retribution. So @MMscion3691, how would you rule this type of country, Nigeria?
