Thank you for the input, that is so surprising. I genuinely had a great time there in my visit, with a lot of smiles, , , but i was not drinking alcohol so i could not experience the situation with more beer.

Well, but that's normal. Actually, in the Czech Republic the good waiter delivers you new beer when you are finishing the old one. You have to say in advance that you don't want another one. For Czechs, it is crucial not to wait for another beer. Also, liquor is not free and everybody in the Czech Republic knows that is isn't priceless offer. They don't aim for tourists, they aim for locals too (because more alcohol = more spending).

I am from Prague and I loved in the olden days that all pubs just brought you another beer when your glass was finished, unless you said beforehand that the glass you were drinking was the last. It is how it was everywhere. Unfortunately most places stopped it because of whiny tourists complaining that they didn’t order more beer. So thank you my whiny tourist friend, I have not been to U Fleku for many years - ironically because it had become too touristy for my tastes a long time ago - but now that you told me that they are still upholding some of our peculiar Czech traditions, I shall pay another visit. And why did you assume that alcohol offered was free? Sense of entitlement, much? No Czech would assume it’s free. Literally zero of what you said was a tourist trap activity by the pub.
