Dang man that’s a beautiful river a lot of cool structure nice choice of setting John I’d never even heard of that pretty little bass species you were nailing great work!
One of my favorite up and coming fishing channels. his videos are awesome and it’s great to see my hometown fishing spots and some hidden ones I didn’t know about! @FIREbirdaustin
One of my favorite parts about your channel is your humility when you are wrong you own it. It’s refreshing to see that you don’t act like you know everything about 🎣. Keep ‘em coming brother
Brings back great memories. I grew up in Augusta. Last time I went out on that river i was using a buddies kayak. When I was walking it down the stairs to the river I was walking behind it and letting it slide down the steps. I had a rope tied to the kayak. Of course the inevitable happened and the rope broke at the top of the stairs. Hahahaha. The kayak went all the way down the stairs hit the dock and probably went 50 yards out in to the river. Great river to float!!
I grew up in national hills which is south of the lock and dam and I fished the lock from 1991-1996 for mainly stripers. It looked extremely low the day you fished. But the river is loaded with numerous species from tiny to over 100 lbs. Jack fish to alligator gar. Its worth another trip on a day the river is a little higher.
sheeeeeeeesh nice video!!! def check out austin’s channel! man can that dude pack a HAWG in his lip! glad you two had fun and made some bangin videos!!!
What an adventure! A CFA Adventure !! I've already seen both of Aaron's videos and his crispy ending of course. I got a little fright when your kayak hit the rock while you were standing up. A lot of Bartram's bass caught(a good add for the Slam), and mostly a lot of common fun had by everyone. It took a while before you seemed to be able to boat one ! 😁 Over all a super entertaining video ! Always be safe. Randy B.
I learned of a new bass today from this video... Looks like I will need to take a trip to Georgia now just to ease my curiosity. Another good video John. God Bless and GO KATS!!!!!!!!!
This is the river I fish only further south. It’s certainly beautiful, and majestic. Oh and a little fun fact around the area where you guys were fishing there was a supposed sighting of a river monster similar to the altamaha-ha
That was a nice fishing video and it was relaxing to watch too bad the weather put a stop to it that kind of sucked keep putting out good content and I enjoyed it
Man that's a wide river caught a lot of redeye's yesterday got couple miles up river all of a sudden here comes the muddy water must of rained hard in the mountains
Nice video mister John love your videos keep up the good work and go catch some more big ones for us and stay safe and thank you for the great fishing tips and videos
That's crazy. I'm legit already subscribed to you n GA bassmaster. I stay on the Chattahoochee but close Atlanta. Roswell sandy springs area. You guys should come up. Lots of fishing holes around here
@@fishingthelist4017 To be honest idk. Trout is damn near the fish I haven't caught there, and it's crazy bc that's what it's known for. Just be sure to have your license out here bc they do enforce
If there's one piece of advice I can give on smallmouths and I've literally caught thousands. It's set the hook HARD!! They will throw a bait in a second. Set hard
I watch your videos all the time, I’m an 11 year old kid who wants to start a fishing channel and live near where you are fishing in this video so would you please tell me what lure you were using👍
Quick question John you said you won a bass tournament lately place first that I cannot find anything posted on it , or it's right in front of my eyes and I can't see it can you help me out I'd appreciate it
Whatever you are doing today STOP!!!!!! Go right now to the closest tackle shop and buy a small folding fishing next and put it somewhere in your fishing truck so you wills always have it available. lol, enjoyed the beginning of the video I really thought you were never going to get a fish in the boat to take a picture with.
you have to try some sw, some farm ponds and rivers in va/md - do like a 20 mi float - try to get best info and plan but in the end you just have to go and explore - there are probably still lots of places in Tennessee you need to see
Dude , you caught or almost caught 5 fish and you dropped them before we got a chance to see them. Just thought I’d tell you so you could feel worse than you already do for having that happen. Just kidding ,but wow you had a hard start.
I enjoy your creek fishing vid's but I don"t enjoy watching you drop so many fish .Look's like you are not focused on what you are doing. Iritating as hell. sorry no like button for this one
