Don't forget that it doesn't make sense to upgrade pipes below a fork, as the upper pipe can't be faster anyways. If there are no air gaps in the upper pipe, its flow maxed out
Turmoil is probably one of the few puzzle-esque games that I've always wanted to play simply because it flows really well and is more complex than you'd originally think. Edit:yeah yeah esque not esk definitely was just testing you
Some minor info and tips: Info: lvl 3 pipe = 5 lvl1 pipes lvl 2 pipe = 3 lvl1 pipes Pipes can only transfer as much as they can hold. Dowsers can only show non connected oil pockets The map slowly reveals it self over the mining time. Most of the map is revealed by half way trough the season. (Reccomended to keep looking until 3/4 of the season is done.) tips: 1. Rule of thump, only have around 1 lvl3 (3 lvl1 pipes) pipe per drill (goes up to 4-5 lvl1 pipes when you have upgraded horse carrying capacity) 2. Have around 2 horses per drill, when not selling. If selling, get around equal amount to lvl1 pipes connected (Distance is harsh). 3. Go for moles if dowsers aren't your thing, scanners are only useful when looking for something directly (pocket size). Too expensive for general scouting. 4. Don't be too stingy. Supply and time, is the key. If you have a lot of time and a good supply. Sell for lower prices so you wont have to sell for even lower when supplies start to over flow.
Pro-tips: 1. If dowsers leave, then there either a) isn't any more oil left or b) your dowser's don't have enough depth upgrade to see the oil (it's pretty much ALWAYS a bad idea to just "start searching for oil" with your pipes, just a waste of money) 2. Dowsers will always be above oil if they signal for you (occasionally it's a bit off to the side, but there is always something around there 3. (this one is kind of just a game play mechanic, but ehh) A Level 2 pipe (meaning it's been upgraded) can pull oil from 2 level 1 pipes that are branching off of it (think if you have a peace sign, where the top pipe is lvl 2 and the other 2 pipes are level 1), but if you have both branches as lvl 2 pipes going into 1 tube, it will only push at the speed of 1 lvl 2 pipe. (This is simpler than I made it out to be, just pay attention to how the oil is flowing in the pipes themselves)

Aliensrock is one of the few amazing streamers and RU-vidrs that haven't yet been recognized. I've said this before and I'll say it again: this guy deserves way more subscribers.
Tyler you should try out Rebel Inc. it's made by the same people who made Plague Inc. and it's a fun strategy/micro-managment game that feels like chess and minesweeper mixed. Would definitely recommend, i think you'd like it.
