Hobbs and Shaw was not the same chemistry or performance as F8 for The Rock. He was...too much. Hobbs is reserved, gruff, had a bit of a Southern accent, principled. These scenes were gold.
I love that look Hobbs gives Shaw at 3:45 , him realizing that the man he labelled and considers criminal scum is actually exactly like him. A patriot that got thrown to the wolves by the country they served... after ''failing'' a black ops mission
that moment when they actually had to keep the laughing reaction at the end cause Jason wouldn't be able to keep a straight face after what Dwayne said haha quite priceless scene xD
“Ooh my day just got a whole hell of a lot better. Mr. Nobody, do you want to explain why you put me in the same room with this tea and crumpets eatin’ criminal sum’ bitch?”
@@Lobo-434 Actually, Dwayne Johnson was born in the USA. But his father, who was Rocky Johnson, he unfortunately passed away this year back in January, his father was from Canada, and for Dwayne Johnson, he is calf Canadian, half American, while he is also half Samoan. And that is why he looks like he’s light brown, even though he was born here in America.
@@marcelincrf1481 What? Dude, you’re not making any sense here whatsoever. All I said was, that Dwayne The Rock Johnson was born here in the USA, while his family comes from both Canada and Samoa.
Someone please correct me if I’m wrong. But while making the movies, and since they were playing enemies who hated each other at first, then they became close friends, as well as allies sometime later on in the movies, didn’t Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham become good buddies, as well as the best of friends and the best of pals in real life, at some point after making Furious 7, as well as The Fate Of The Furious, and finally, Hobbs And Shaw?
From experience I knew that these 2 would never fight again, when 2 guys talk enough shit to eachother it just becomes a back and forth verbal thing and never a physical one. This is the exact same thing at my job, these 2 guys at my construction job always talk shit to eachother and it’s been 3 years with no actual fight lol and now it’s like they don’t even actually hate eachother anymore
It's a guy thing overall. I work at a blue collar job, and we're usually giving each other the same kind of attitude. Depends on the people, but it can be like you want to fight each other, or just "teasing". For me, personally, it actually helps me to know how much trust I can put in someone by how they react.
The rock: I have finally defeated stone cold and ended my rivalry with him Jason Statham: looks like I have enter the server The rock: oh shit not another stone cold
I wonder how much of this was ad libed. Because the way that Dwayne Johnson says tea and crumpets is way too hammy of a line to be in the script. The one liners Jason Statham shot are too clever.
I love Statham cus of his other pictures but this one is Bada$$. The cRock is a good guy as well. I wanna know str8 up who would win out of fight. Dwayne or Jason cus Jason is one great fighter and the cRock is a tank with human skin. Idk guys lmao. I think Dwayne Johnson would kick the eva luvin shit outta Statham. But Statham took down bigger guys then the cRock 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Watching this makes me realize we didn't need a movie for these two. Because they already put aside their differences in this movie and yet they continue to bicker in the spin-off.
Why do I always feel a jackie chan chris tucker vibe from these two ? Only more manly retorts and comebacks mixed in with ironic humor while doing impossible stunt while having action pleasing for a high testosterone man? and more bald men fading each others ego faster then they can receed ???
