Yes, that was good. Sometimes a little bit of detail and texture can really make it come alive. This was one had me hooked.

@@missmiagi2147 I don't want you to feel too bad about this, but it didn't turn out the way we expected at all. He was limping because he had cancer. It was in his bones, and was very aggressive, and we had to put him to sleep. We found out on Friday, and spent the weekend doing everything he liked to do, and he went out smiling and happy, before the cancer could make him feel horrible. He was such a good dog, and I miss him a lot. I'm sitting with Callie(Callisto) on my lap, she is our Labradoodle, and she is giving me hugs and getting pets. Thank goodness for dogs, and Thor is in heaven now. Thanks for remembering Thor and asking about him.

That's some damn fine writing/storytelling you did right there! I loved this story!!!! Partly bc, I'm from Massachusetts!!! Hehe I live in a place where it's lovingly called "Happy Valley" lmao buncha hippies all 'round these parts 😂 This one def touched me, and, yes, we do have our fair share of creepy ass old houses and woodsey places that we'd be remiss to not call " that is shit is SUPER 'hainted'" 😂 I used to get super creeped every time I went to my friends house bc it was one of the oldest houses in all surrounding towns and the street it was on was named after her house~ "Old House Rd". Super creative I know lol it even had a reallllyy old creepy 17th/18th century cemetery a quarter mile away...up on a knoll stood the scariest old tombstones I'd ever seen. I loved it all though. I used to love getting lost in the woods when I was a kid...not so much those who raised me or the police that had to search 😬 Great story!!! I KNEW once that guy messed with the "rat poison" shit was going down! I immediately was all "Nnnooooo! Not the salt!!! Fix the damn salt barricade!!!"👍😊👏 💙❤💜

I grew up outside of Washington, D.C, in Maryland and we spent a lot of my childhood exploring the woods near where I lived. There were three or four old homesites in those woods, mostly just the remains of a cellar or a couple of crumbling brick walls, but they always captured our imagination when we found them. Even to this day, I find the concept of these places sprinkled through the woods of the Northeast to be super creepy and interesting at the same time!

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it. I never intend to offend or use language or imagery gratuitously, but you'll absolutely find similar content among my stories. I don't intend to change that.
