My jaw hurts thinking of maintaining a smile for so long... This story reminds me of something really creepy my son did last year. So he is low-functioning autistic and has this fixation with Gollum. He'll drop to all fours, and he can get moving pretty dang quickly in that pose. Here's the worst part: he makes no noise when he runs like that. One night, while I was doing something in the kitchen and he was in his room, I saw a low, black blur shoot past the entrance of the kitchen heading into the living room. I looked in, and sitting down like a dog in the middle of the dark room was my son. He was lit only by the light of the room behind me. His eyes were looking up and off to the left, mouth hanging open in a huge grin, lower jaw crooked off to one side. I stepped closer, totally creeped out but also concerned that he may be going into a seizure. As I reached to one side for the light switch, he suddenly full-body extension leapt at me like a cat. I might have screamed, and my brain did that last-second suppression of my knee-jerk response to grab or punch things when startled. He slammed into me, grabbed me in a hug, and started laughing hysterically. Then he let go and skipped into his room in his normal, deafening fashion. I followed to check on the little nutbar, with random nonsensical expletives running through my head as I wondered what the heck had just happened...

Tiktok is indeed very creepy.
