Maybe because his real life personality is very similar to the role he plays, even though he's an even bigger addict (alc and drugs) in rl than in the show.
Charlie has always been a terrific actor and in this show he proves that he can also do comedy. We all have demons but let’s give him credit for what he can do and that is act and entertain.

I always thought Jenny McCarthy would've been the best one to take over hosting the Price is Right. She reminds me of a female version of Bob Barker. Her banter with the contestants would've been a lot more interesting than plain vanilla Drew
I would be curious to know how many takes they did with the "rear engine where it belongs" line... I would have cracked up for goods it I would I have to say it. Actually they did act it beautifully.
You would think that set light engineers would put lights on top to cover the whole scene instead of having actors eyes telling us how many probe lights are hitting their pupils.

You know, if she was 20 years younger, back when she was stunningly attractive, this would have made alot more sense. I would have loved it if Charlie had said "Hey, you don't happen to have a grown daughter by chance?"
I think that I've seen this stretch of related shows. The Honey turns out to be Charly's 1/2 sister. Suggesting that Alan might be Charly's 1/2 brother, maybe. My Sister got a lot of Hollywood magazines, and she would compare gossip with her pals at High School. So maybe this show was a factual representation in foot tickling sort of way? I liked the show. .
