NGL, this would be a nice nail in the coffin for the game. After a year, most people just lost interest. Most of my regular people on the friends list don't play anymore. Doa6 has made me a worse player than I was in 5LR. Make a DOA7 instead of a 6U.

I actually got into DOA because of the fun as hell DOA6 tourney videos you guys did last year. This game has been a blast to play, and has made my quarantine awesome. NiCO will always be my girl, and Jann Lee can go eat a giant banana.

Bayman here disrespects his other comrade from Tekken 7, Dragunov. KT really didn't like this bland of a character at all while Dragunov got so much love both with his design, character and moveset.

I agree with eliot's placing. Hes good to be sure but hes one of, if not, the most linear character in the game. And with the number of mids in each of his strings he is easily held or sidestepped. The only reasonable way to counteract this would be to use shorter strings ending with K. The only time he can use longer strings is for 46p combo ender off a launch. I might be a bit off but only cause I haven't played in a while

Damn I always talk about Soul Calibur 3 cause it brought alot of the good single player content that most 3D fighters these days still can't bring to the table. Two story modes, create a soul, decent tutorial and neat unlockables. Competitively that game was a glitched mess tho, and I'm still mad we never got a console port of the fixed Arcade version that came afterwards.

At 5.20 I would have said that raidou needs a rework. He should have a new movelist and be some kind of safe. Hopefully they don't bring raidou back in doa7 or revamp him in 6u cause it's frustrating to be a raidou main and get stomped by everyone. Ps: It's just an opinion.

Great tier list! Mai is my main and I just told a friend yesterday that I feel like she is one of the most underrated characters in the game and that she might actually be S-tier! Same goes for Phase 4, but man sadly the shitty netcode can really screw u over when playing her online...

Nicelist and interesting conversations. But I am still surprised Ayane is not in S-Tier and regarding the state of DOA6.. yeah it's pretty much dead but i will not go back to DOA5. I hate the emphasize on sit-down stuns there, the stupid Power launcher height, the wierd sidestep that got introduced, Ein bein trash and the environment graphics are DEPRESSING and BAD! If you guys like it though and go back to it than that's fine with me. But all what is kinda left for me now when it comes to DOA are the great memories of the past.. Before GREED and DAMN Guest characters got into this franchise or i am just getting to old to "appreciate" this current state of fighting games.. 😐

As a phase 4 main this made me very happy 😄 but at the same time in my opinion I feel that Kasumi, Christie, and Tina are better than her but that’s just me 😌 and that’s just going off of match ups and how unsafe she is compared to them that’s all

Phase 4 suffers from an issue that I think only affects her. After you hit P+K by itself with any character, there's a small window where the game does not accept any P or K inputs, but it does accept H inputs. If I remember right, this isn't an issue if you use P+K with a directional input. This means if you're playing Phase and you hit H+K too soon after doing a Chifu or T too soon after doing a Chifu or Tenfu cancel, the game will read it as H and you'll free cancel instead, which means you drop your combo. You have to time your H+K and T presses, which can also lead to dropping your combo. I'm pretty sure this wasn't an issue in 5, and this was never addressed in any of the patches for 6. Thankfully P, K, and P+K follow-ups can be done just by mashing. That said, I'm glad that despite that she's still a great character, though I do agree that you need practice, practice, practice and study all the other characters inside and out because she is very unsafe. Also, I would argue that Nagikaze was the best thing she got in 6, but then they added 4H+K and she got even more ridiculous, even after they nerfed Tenfu P+K.

Rikuto knew they fucked Bayman Nice to see Marie out of D rank she never seemed like the "worst" Still think Zack is slept on wish he were higher Hitomi always seems like an all rounder B feels right Nyo and Rachel right next to each other is accurate actually glad Nyo is lower this time around. I don't see Tamaki being this high, but I can't blame y'all since, like you said "they never had a chance" we have nothing but theory on her. Surprised Ayane isn't S tier. i plan to get into the doa series, i seen the stories and im ready to start playing though ik with fighting games im basically jumping into the wolves.

But bass 1p is also a 50 50, and arguably better than diago . i cant see diago that high and his strings are not that respectable .im so sad . but i guess cuz he on the simple side don't requires as much thanking but

I know I am barely an above average player when it comes to DOA5/Ultimate/5LR (had a very strict tourney friend who taught me the mechanics and such of the series alongside how to play Hitomi) but it genuinely felt most of my losses in DOA6 were to people that were of lower skill than me. I don't know what it was about this game that made it feel this way but it was like I was a worse player than I was when I started playing it which burnt me out. It honestly caused me to stop playing all of the games until this past month where I started playing the series again. Would love to see a DOA game that takes itself more seriously, has the visuals (or even better) of DOA6, respects their characters, and still allows the creativity I felt with learning DOA5.
