PPMD brought sportsmanship to this community, which is still in dire need of a healthy competitive environment. He built the smash community up more than any other god and will always be my favorite.

Gotta agree with the rest here. The Avatar intro and the Naruto outro were both great but the clips were overedited and the music for the actual combo video section was just not a good choice. I like that you're trying to show that you have your own style and all, but yeah, just cool down on those effects and let the combos speak for themselves. Try and figure out what bits could use a little embellishment rather than just tossing in cool little effects and edits at random times - at least, that's what it felt like was happening here. Good start though, and best of luck!

loved the intro+outro! a little too much lingering on the ICE game in b&w the reason the song didn't work was because the song wasnt rythmically strong. That's why videos like So Much Style feel so sick. They're based on 90s rap which was generally rythmically interesting. A rythmically interesting song leaves for more moments to time hits and combos to. In EG PPMD I picked songs I thought were as rythmically interesting as possible because I intended on leaving large portions of the matches unedited. In this way I let the players direct their own combo video, and their playstyle really came out. The more editing you do the more of your own flavor you're putting into the video. The more vanilla you leave the clips, the more the players stand out. never stop making videos bro

We can't only have 3 people total who could beat Armada anytime. (actually 4 but I don't count M2K in) For the likes of Plup, Westballz, M2K, maybe Axe and SFAT, the likeliness of winning a Supermajor as big as Genesis greatly depends on the capacities of attendees in beating Armada. Leffen and PPMD were away for too long, so the only way for Mango and Hungrybox (and M2K) to win a major was either by defeating Armada or hoping that he would not attend. Now that Leffen is on his way back to full potential, Armada will encounter an other possible threat on his way to Grand Finals. But the more, the merrier: Hbox could be upset by SFAT, M2K, Plup, even Axe... Mango by Westballz, Plup, SFAT... Leffen by Duck, Plup, Westballz, Ice, Axe... Armada could very well win a tourney without even facing a god. Since he is so hard to beat, having PPMD attend would leave more opportunities to gods and non gods alike to go further into brackets. All in all, the Melee scene needs PPMD to finally gain balance among its very players. As far as I admire Armada, having a scene where only him and the 3 (4 with M2K) that could beat him win Supermajors doesn't help the thrills we could enjoy if people like Westballz could very well win Evo. So, even if we didn't love Kevin Nanney, we still would need him. It may take a long time before he actually comes back, but it doesn't matter, because the wait adds to the scene almost as much as his return would... But we love you PPMD and we want you back!

Damn..... niggas really like to shit on peoples videos, NO MATTER WHAT, 1. The was meant to fit with the game play, and be like a little inspirational/emotional tribute to PP , it did its part (SO WHAT ABOUT GENRE STEREOTYPES.....) 2. Its an early montage considering his subcount i commend him for doing so well 3. Grow a pair and please make one better than this, instead of complaining about someone getting started , only problem (over editing on combos, but it was still kinda nice, pleasant in a sense)

PP wasn't deemed Godly because of his reflexes or his insane APM. He was declared a God because of his mind - Sometimes PPMD just knows what you're going to do before you do, and that isn't a skill exclusive to him - but it's a skill he displays more than any other player, and hopefully we'll see even more of it when he comes back.

Sure this is what almost everyone else has said, but this is just like a PowerPoint presentation with a transition every single slide, sound effects and pop up images. One or two uses is okay, when it's used consistently, it becomes way too much, and really detracts from the great clips you picked and the solid actual editing.

amazing intro/outro! good footage choice too and some of the effects were nice like the chain-grab flash and star-ko flash. others were too too distracting or jarring e.g. the screen cutting to black inbetween hits, and strangely timed rewinds. good vid all around!

This is just honest feed back don't take offense to it. I wasn't a big fan of the slow motion replays of stuff, that's my big problem with melee combo videos, it's hard to match it up to the music I understand. But you can do more of those quick cut parts where there's multiple situations from different games to synchronize it. But when you do slow motion on melee it just hurts deep inside, because the game is to beautiful i like either the whole situation in slow mo, but I love just some good old fuckin melee. Just some feedback
