I like how Homelander spares Billy just to emotionally torture him. Homelander sees that Billy isn't afraid of him and is obviously willing to die, so it's more cruel if Homelander lets Billy live rather than kill him.

@@TheTriangle444 the comic feels TOO edgy for edgy sake. like an overly edgy kid's idea of what a mature story should be. while the show's tone and level of darkness managed to hit that sweet spot of being both edgy but meaningful to the story that was presented. thats just my opinion tho. the comic is fun. its just a bit too much. the show is better at handling it's tone
