I mean, Aegon was forced into being king and the entire war is being fought without his input lol. The only decisions he made was to hang the rat catchers, and drunk flying his dragon to battle, in which his own brother tried to kill him.
I liked this season, too, and think it's getting too much hate. It had some issues and wasn't as good as season 1, but it was still good. And it sets up season 3 very well.
Alicent is the devil in person. Imagine your mother puts all these evil ideas in your head that the family is in danger if Rhaenyra becomes queen, and then, after SHE crowns her son (who never wanted to be king), she goes to the enemy to sell you and your brothers because she has suddenly become a pacifist. Rhaenyra should have killed her, but like her father, she keeps making mistakes one after another.
Couldn't disagree more; Rhaenyra was riding her high horse/dragon. She was willing to lay waste to Kings Landing. You could also say: then also a grandson for a grandson. I couldn't help but see Alicents side more this time (owning her mistakes); but hay perhpaps I need a specialists diagnose?
The mud-wrestling Admiral Tohar is played by Abigail Thorne who is most well known for having a RU-vid channel called Philosophy Tube. So, quite an unexpected part (that has too many scenes and lines to be a cameo). And in case you didn't know, Abigail is trans (don't know about the character, though).
Nearly every reactor seem to praise Helaena confronting Aemond, saying he would be dead, but (almost?) none adresses that she also mentions that Aegon will be King again (sitting the wooden throne). Why does nearly no one mention that?
Not the edging 101😂😂😂😂 I liked the setup in this ep.and this season. I feel like Daemon coming round would've never been believable if we hadn't seen him lose his chickens at Harrenhal. We've spent all season giving Rhaenyra reverse Danaerys vibes, NOT wanting to burn down King's Landing and now she's ready to go hard for the throne. Aemond is on his big, bad villain shot and I'm here for it, 1000%. And now I'm fully ready for Season 3. Can't wait!
I cant lie this is the one time I've ever liked Criston Cole. Just being purely nihilistic, dropping all his stupid honorable projection bullshit, just being a doomer. That's a good look on Cole. Also the Lannister hanging with the pirates subplot was really fun too. On the other hand, watching the little girl run around in the wild looking for a dragon like 4 different times was totally unnecessary, and so was that conversation between Ali and Rhaenyra at the end too. Absolutely bizarre season finale, like just straight up odd decisions were made. Now we get to sit around for TWO YEARS. Pain.
This episode and the dumb conversation to end the season has made it blatantly clear that the writers WILL NOT hold Rhaenyra and the Blacks responsible or to the same standard they will for Alicent and the Greens. "A son for a son." Excuse me um do you not remember that your husband had a prince killed at the beginning of the season. Corlys has completely forgotten that Rhaenyra is responsible for both the death of his son and wife. The red sowing and the starving of the people of Kings Landing completely ignored. Rhaenyra is good and hold no responsibility, Alicent is bad and holds all of it and that is it. She will also apparently let her brother, father and sons die to save herself and her daughter. Bullshit.
why are you acting has if this is some black good, green bad? it was literally an overall badly writen season. i mean out of all, team green was the overall better writen team, a side from alicente!! the flwas from the show are all about the writers. team green had little flaws when it came to the writers, except this last episode, which all seem to make no sense...and team black, just badly writen all season long, starting with daemon. so don't make this team green against team black...in this, is about how bad the writers were all season long!
@@Nokturnal89Sorry,but if Nettles storyline was to play out then they’d have to show Rhaenyra’s ugly side and couldn’t continue to portray her as some saint. So sorry…no Nettles☹️.
@justmando9488 fire and blood was written from the perspective of a maester who when writing it, 2 of his 3 sources for the material are people aligned with old town and the citadel. Of course book rhaenyra is more callous than show rhaenrya, but should remember that those sources would be biased towards the hightowers.
