I hope im not in the minority finding The Finals streams to be entertaining! Ive been watching a lot of On1c the past week. I caught Stone playing for first time & his reactions were super positive it seemed. The heavy/light/medium aspect, the map design with the destruction possibilities, the range of extra little tools (jump pads, foam gun, scanner etc) & even the random events all seem to keep each game feeling surprising. It's all about if the developers can introduce those casual modes you mention & build on this positive hype 🙏 @@Tomographic

The game itself is structured around a game show. That it translates well for viewers is very much in its design

As someone who has played several versions of this game, the best thing is them not being afraid to fail and ask for feedback. The last year they've been opening the game and trying a ton of different combinations in order to find the best one in terms of TTK, bufs, nerfs, timers, cooldowns, damage, money, movement, vaulting, loadouts...etc. and now it shows.

​@@danielbaker6149 Bet you said that about Apex Legends too. The player count on this game speaks volumes and it has the gameplay to back it up. To put it in perspective Call of Duty, the best selling shooter for the past 20 years running had half the player count that this game has had during its beta.

Yes! I love that the setting of the game is a virtual game show - makes the unrealistic but fun mechanics make sense and not break the immersion. Gives devs a lot of freedom for creativity too!

Agree. No loot, armor and other bs to loot. Just a simple objective and classes.

@@Tomographictomo you must turn on enemy team colours in settings. It gives all the teams their own colours. Helps with multiple enemies so you know how man teams you fighting

im honestly shocked how bad people are, if you want to win you need to sweat your ass off and carry the other 1/2

Yeah this game is getting a lot of praise but I’m predicting a future of people complaining about sweats and solo play being impossible

​@@GeloLego99Even as a casual player myself, I feel this. I play healer medium a lot, and my teammates often both decide to fck off to the other side of the map without a word 🤦‍♀️. Or they have the heal gun and just feel like not using it. I swear I've spammed the "need help" command at least a hundred times and it hasn't worked ONCE

if you try to swap gadgets it fixes the not being able to turn bug

Eah that bug got me a few times I thought it was my controller

Biggest bug I got was gun wouldn’t stop firing, I’d auto reload and mag dump again without a hand on the mouse

Such a fun and refreshing game. I run now the medium with the shotty nade launcher. I just had a game that I took down the WHOLE building on top of us hahaha

It’s not a battle royale, just play it since the beta ends soon.

Yeah it's honestly more fun than any BR the games go by pretty quick too

The only similarity to BR games is that there are 3 squads of 3, so 3rd partying does happen and the fights can get very chaotic. But there are ton of tip videos already about this game. If you feel like you wanna try it, I'd definitely give it a go. And keep in mind, every death is a moment to reflect and learn from your mistakes, that's gonna be the only way to improve overtime.

@@ravioliiking oh boy, how does the change in direction feel? The initial scope seemed like there was plenty of room for organic cooperation between groups, but now it shifted to a more of an extraction shooter and I'm hoping the playerbase and the new style will still give opportunities to do so
