Chief Midegah, I know you read the comments. I just want to express my appreciation for you being so open and sharing this knowledge with us. When you’re on camera, your light (countenance) shines and I can feel the spirit. My faith in Christ, the Book of Mormon, and my understanding of Native culture have all increased because of your willingness to do these interviews.

He’s pretty great right? I’ve felt powerful since learning all of this., how could I not, Chief Midegah speaks with power and conviction. And what he speaks is TRUE. I’ve been researching like a mad person, about natives. I guess I always have. I live right next to the Salt River Rez and have spent a lot of time driving on it. I’m a nurse and have many native patients. I went to school with many, learned of the Hopi in school. They have always intrigued me. I mean for pity sake, have you been on a rez? I needed to know why. ??Then when I got older, Indians feel old, they know, you know that whole “old spirit” saying, that’s them. If they’re not busy chasing out the ghosts, they shine like diamonds, well I can’t say all but I’m speaking generally here, you know. My patients in detox, the natives, they feel like a busted up 23 year old Mormon guy who’s off his mission and has been bonin and drinkin and they know better. You know. Except these guys have vivid dreams and hallucinations. Especially the Fort McDowell crew. And they are much sicker than that dumbo Mormon kid. They’re precious souls, they live up on the mountain by the Verde River, beautiful land! the government tried to damn up the river and cover their land. Not to mention been poaching their property and land little by little just like chief says. So to hear everything he’s said regarding people and geography is MIND BLOWING. we’re talking answers to questions books and movies are made about, things people argue and debate about, make YT videos about. Anyone would be blessed to listen to him. I just don’t know why his knowledge isn’t spreading far and wide. Do you suppose to have ears to hear? I emailed a favorite video of his to my family chat line. 5 of my brothers left the church over Joseph Smith and another sister, through Trump type stuff I suppose, has really picked this negative spirit and hate for people. Now I’ve learned she and her husband think the prophet is nuts and Joseph smith is full of it. My mind is blown. I listened to an amazing video that pointed out this very way to apostasy is based on fights for liberty and protecting rights, Trump stuff. Turns out it leads you to be anti-Christ, ultimately. The way they speak of illegals, like they’re dogs. They’re God’s children…she knows that. So anyway, I thought this video, and as a side note, 3 of them are history majors and my dad is a huge ancestor guy (because he’s smart and knows our ancestors help us so he teaches us about them 😊) so I figured the knuckleheads might here this history stuff and not be able to deny Joseph smith as a prophet of God. I don’t think anyone watched it. And if they did, it’s been 1 week, crickets on the line. I did however, text it to my dad. He loved it and is getting into the records and excitement. I sent to my sister and brother in law because he’s from the mountains and grew up around a couple old Indian guys and was taught as a boy some things. This grew his affinity to natives and understanding of who they are. Did he watch it? Probably not. Who knows, maybe someone will. I want everyone in the world to, so of course I want them to. Not just because they’ve left the church. They’re just blocked somewhere. Sometimes you can drink for a time and quit, sometimes you become an alcoholic instead. 😂 I don’t even know what that means but I’m keeping it. I think people get caught up in “the church” stuff. Things that are insignificant and petty. Becoming offended and gossiping are certainly slippery slopes, aren’t they? We’re told over and over to love one another. When you stop doing that, a little sweet spot in you gets caged up, you grow more and more resentful of probably everything. Craziest part is not even realizing it’s happening. Whoa!! Life is nuts! Isn’t it fun to be alive. This is enormous, but eh, sometimes you just feel like rambling out to the world. Why not? We’re all brother and sisters :) With all my heart I know we are to be validating the people of this land, that they are who they say they are and pulling them up and helping restore them as a people. We’re taught this? Did everyone forget? I think people in the church have forgotten how to talk with God, maybe they never learned. I learned. But I’ve been isolated from people, life gets hard you know. Throw a night shift job in the mix and you may as well be a dead, you become a dead man walking. My relationship with God and Jesus Christ became my sole mission, just after 2020. Searching for truth in the election stopped me dead in my tracks one night and I thought…what am I doing, I already know the truth that matters. I was off from there. Got into some Holland for motivation, Hinckley for love and kindness, (funny Cloud P was Hinckley’s personal physician) am I right? Maxwell for beauty and prose. Man, isn’t Neal A Maxwell a beautiful man? I love him. His words shower me with hope and desire. Also love me some Truman Madsen and Bruce Porter. So mostly GAs and church approved experts like porter. The other half has been world stuff, history everything, trying to place everyone where they go. I’ve been saving to read the Book of Mormon trying to nail down the ancestry and the tribes situation. Then this comes out. Maybe you have to be studying in that way. But shit, who doesn’t want to know who the Indians are?

Was reading the words of Samuel The Lamanite today: " _Yea, I say unto you, that in the latter times the promises of the Lord have been extended to our brethren, the Lamanites; and notwithstanding the many afflictions which they shall have, and notwithstanding they shall be driven to and fro upon the face of the earth, and be hunted, and shall be smitten and scattered abroad, having no place for refuge, the Lord shall be merciful unto them. 13 And this is according to the prophecy, that they shall again be brought to the true knowledge, which is the knowledge of their Redeemer, and their great and true shepherd, _*_and be numbered among his sheep_* ." - Helaman 15: 12-13

Also 1 Nephi 14 vs 2 Righteous gentiles will be numbered among the seed of Lehi. "1 And it shall come to pass, that if the Gentiles shall hearken unto the Lamb of God in that day that he shall manifest himself unto them in word, and also in power, in very deed, unto the taking away of their stumbling blocks- 2 And harden not their hearts against the Lamb of God, they shall be numbered among the seed of thy father; yea, they shall be numbered among the house of Israel; and they shall be a blessed people upon the promised land forever; they shall be no more brought down into captivity; and the house of Israel shall no more be confounded." Found also in 2 Nephi 10: 18-19 "18 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, thus saith our God: I will afflict thy seed by the hand of the Gentiles; nevertheless, I will soften the hearts of the Gentiles, that they shall be like unto a father to them; wherefore, the Gentiles shall be blessed and numbered among the house of Israel. 19 Wherefore, I will consecrate this land unto thy seed, and them who shall be numbered among thy seed, forever, for the land of their inheritance; for it is a choice land, saith God unto me, above all other lands, wherefore I will have all men that dwell thereon that they shall worship me, saith God."

Thank you for that. I have been searching for that book for years now after a lecture on the Mystery Glyphs. There are Glyphs at the base of a Mountain in Ogden Utah. One of the glyphs is the spirit glyph listed in the Ojibwa book. The other is simular to the spirit glyph but has four direction. In the Lenni-Lanape (Delaware) translated records that Glyph is believed to represent Christ.
@GwPoKo
@GwPoKo Месяц назад
I've been to those Ogden glyphs. They were definitely created in the last 150 years or so and not an ancient creation. You can tell by the very 'fresh' chipping that took place to create them. Also the ones in Cedar City and Fillmore are the same.
@cdmbcgm
@cdmbcgm Месяц назад
@GwPoKo There are a lot of stories about them. The archeologists' claims are the worst. A common idea is based on Jesse James. He learned the writing from Native Americans and used it as code. Some believe it was Moroni and others say it was ancient Chinese characters. The symbol for Christ with the Lenni-Lanape on the east coast is similar to one of the glyphs. I have also found it amongst the Olmec, but it is square. All this is a good reason they are called the Mystery Glyphs.

@@latter-daywatchIt will be especially interesting to see how the GA's respond, and Q15, mostly since they have put a lot of time snd effort into building up the Meso American model. They put it in all the chapels in the artwork, much of BYU's research is devoted to it, it is in the artwork in the manuals, the Book of Mormon series they just did has that, older church movies have it. This is important because Chief Medigahs challenge to them recognize His people as being one of those that are talked about in the history of the Book of Mormon, and that the Book of Mormon is an history book, not just figurative which goes against the churchs stance quite strongly. They claim they don't know with their words and statements, but still as said still very much through their actions show they think the Meso American model is the correct model! I feel this will be brought to a head, in part because the church is not very good at backing down or saying there might be more to the story, especially when there is a lot of money involved. It will also be interesting since as said, they have put a lot of time, effort, and money in building up the Meso Americas as the land of the Book of Mormon. In direct contrast from what I understand from my studies, they have generally opposed and have put very little money abd tome towards helping to research in the the Midwest, and Eastern United States. What do you think, I am curious? Is there anything I am missing? Sincerely, Your Brother in Christ, JS

@@joshuaconnelly2415 Same here at least on the GA's and Q 15 opinions. Mostly it is a different look at it for those who, as many of the people on here, at least that are writing comments seem to care about what they say to a degree. I was mostly pointing out that from their current stance and past history, there is a high likelihood things may not happen as they had hoped. I have not spent the time digging into research on all the sides to come to a good conclusion. We do know that the United States Government has not always been honest, or at times is outright deceitful, such is the case with the crazy number of artifacts and giant bones/skeletons strewn around the east coast. The Smithsonian was documented to have come and collected a great deal of those artifacts, and then many of them have never seen the light of day since then. We only know they were there because of the many newspaper articles and personal accounts of these items. We also know it is very possible for the government to lie through its teeth to push an agenda such as with Covid-19 or massive endless wars using fraudulent means to get the American public to buy them. It then makes the case that it is entirely possible to have the same thing happen, especially when Manifest Destiny was a thing. Just a thought. Again I am still needing to dive deeper into this stuff and sort out the different models, as well as what the critics have to say. Sincerely, Your Brother in Christ, JS

A man sitting on a mountain can be interpreted as a patriarch, a leader, and so on. This interpretation comes from the idea that if you look at a family tree upside down it looks like a mountain; this being a scriptural/spiritual interpretation only. A hand can be interpreted as 'authority' also.
@noahriding5780
@noahriding5780 Месяц назад
It will make a difference if these records are intrepreted by men of God who have the gift of the holy ghost compared to ordinary secular men even if those secular men think they are scholars. There will be many records all over the world that will eventually be translated as additional scripture. Some from the Lamanites and some from other places also. I can't stress enough that any records need to be interpreted through the power of God and through the holy ghost. Even in the church people can have their own bias that may affect how they interpret records that are already translated like traditional books of scriptures. And you see when doing so that they can go off in left field on something, even when it is spelled out clearly before hand without them understanding things they've had as scriptures for a hundred years + already. You can imagine when things aren't translated how much of a difference this can be in comparing lack of understanding affecting this process by comparing. So the question remains if new records will be interpreted the way the Lord wants. But YES there are many other records. There's no question of this.

I don't know why the algorithm suggested this video to me, but I am entertained. Prior to Europeans sailing over, there is zero evidence of written language in North America. Zero. Sequoyah invented a written language for the Cherokee in 1821. I listened twice but I still don't understand the point of referencing a book written in the mid-1800s. It's your belief that that author relays knowledge about North America prehistoric culture, millennia ago? That can't be right, surely.... But, whatever floats your boat.

There are "writings" all over the Americas on rocks/boulders/metals/clay/leather & more from Canada to very South America. The facts that it's been hidden or exposure resisted goes back a few 100 yrs. The Smithsonian being the greatest keeper of secrets. Things just vanish after they get their hands on it. As for Christ visiting, teaching & training the people of the American continent there are written & verbal histories by tribes again from Canada to S. America. It's fascinating to read, hear or see these things.
