It's so funny the amount of people outing that they don't know what adaptation means in here

Honestly, referring to Morales as "Brooklyn Spider-man" to easily differentiate him from Parker is such a good idea it's a lot better than what my nephew does, calling them Black-spidey and Red-spidey respectively

IMO Spider-Man TAS should be in ATSV, his show introduced the whole Spiderverse thing and the ending of the show can lead into the movie perfectly.

Crazy this storyline is almost 10 years old. I remember reading it when it first came out

Both the Miguel and miles episode make me wish they just had their own shows, we’ve gotten like 20 shows with Peter already, a show where miles or Miguel are the main character adapting their original stories with some alterations would be dope as hell

The Spider-Verse arcs from Ultimate Spider-man were probably my favorite part of the show. Sure, they weren't deep or anything, but they were entertaining and risky (not to mention the original Spider-Verse comics weren't much of a masterpiece, either). I think Disney realized their success by not just doing another Spider-Verse the following season, but by doing a pretty similar arc in the third season of Guardians of the Galaxy.

This isn’t the first spiderverse adaptation though I mean I’m sure it’s the first thing to adapt it from the comics but Spider-Man the animated series was the one who got this spiderverse ball rolling

You know, as someone who's always wanted miles to get his own name (in stories where Peter is also alive and spider-man at the same time), I have to agree. Kid arachnid is a terrible name. Don't know what they were thinking with that one. Brooklyn spider-man also works well as a way to distinguish them

I’m not exaggerating when I say Spider-Verse might be the most influential event comic of the last decade. Basically every multiverse adaptation from No Way Home to Crisis on Infinite Earths has used Spider-Verse’s legacy character template in some form.

i really hope they acknowledge shattered dimensions to some degree as it was the first form of spiderman media that really dipped it's toes into the idea of a multi spiderman story. (excluding the 90's show)

This was actually the very first set of episodes of this show I ever watched and the first version of a Spider-Man that I saw. So this is certainly nostalgic for me.

Regarding the adjacent universes, I feel that it makes a lot of sense. If the multiverse is infinite, then technically that would mean there’d be infinite versions of a single universe. On a side note, a weird idea I had was that if a character met themselves from an adjacent universe, because they’re basically the same entity, they’d merge, although as soon as they met one another they’d be different so maybe not. This multiverse stuff is weird sometimes…

I remember being very excited for these episodes when it was announced. I love Noir and 2099 from Shattered Dimensions and looked forward to their first appearance in a cartoon. In my excitement I did research on the one character I didn't recognize which was Spider-Girl. May Day sounded really cool to me so I was excited to see her appearance. Then was very disappointed to find she was only a genderswap Peter. Additionally, her segment doesn't even have the whole Peter helps the alternate Spider with a problem. There was just no drama in her section. It like she was purposefully written to be the worst one of the six.

I will say this in my opinion, that this whole super flawed it was a sort of safe space cartoon and every arc of ultimate spider-man cartoon felt fresh and even dare I say it fun. I will be excited for across the spider-verse, because that movie will make me love spider-man universe even more.

The 2099 suit is a black body suit with red, blue, and purple highlights, the way comics were printed back then is one of the reasons why it constantly looks blue.
