Regarding the neck joint, Nendoroids and figmas from Good Smile typically come with a spare neck or arm/leg joint, usually just as a backup in case the original gets lost or damaged while part swapping.

It's awesome that they made up for the lack of faceplate options by adding a battery feature, which I've not seen on Nendos before! I was jut about to ask as an in box collector, if you think it's best to open this fella up so I can remove the batteries for fear of leakage over time. But you shared in comments that American imported ones do not come with a battery. So I don't have to open it up afterall!) Thanks for sharing your expertise below on that important note!

Very awesome he lights up! Nendoroids aren't my thing either, but I had to cave for the Masako Nozawa one. She speaks! Lol. And I collect so much DBZ stuff, so it's definitely something unique.

Hold up, they hadn't made a KR Nendo before? Wow, that's surprising. Everything that's mildly popular in Japan gets a Nendoroid, even IRL celebrities like Nana Mizuki and western properties like Overwatch or freaking Spongebob, I'm not even joking. Edit: I should watch before commenting lol.
