The First & Last Lines of 60 Harry Potter Characters

Can we all just appreciate, that Dobby's both first and last line was "Harry Potter". It really shows his connection, friendship and loyalty to Harry.

The reason why Mrs. Weasley forgot which platform the Hogwarts Express was on? Because she saw a young boy, seemingly lost, at Kings Cross, with a carriage full of luggage and a caged owl perched on top. Not wanting to be rude (in case his parents were there, but just busy or something), she pretended to not know it, near said lost boy. If he needed help, he might approach them, and Mrs Weasley wpuld be more than happy to help.

When he changes his voice to match the characters gets me every time.

Dumbledore saying "Severus Please" wasn't acting, it was asking Snape to do what they agreed upon. He wasn't saying "Severus, please (spare me)" He was saying "Severus Please (kill me like you promised to do for me.) That is what made that line brilliant.

I honestly prefer Sirius final line in the film where he yells “NICE ONE JAMES” showing how much he still misses his best friend and sees so much of him in Harry

You know, if you put Harry’s first and last lines together when he talks about Snape, you get: “Who is that guy? He was the bravest man I’ve ever known.”

Fun Fact: Harry's first and last lines about snape were: "Percy, who's that man?" "He was the bravest man I knew"

In the german dubbed version, Snape's last line is "You have your mothers eyes, Harry" and I really like that they added his first name to show that Snape really did care for him in the end

Fred’s and Snape's last words are heartbreaking, so well written and amazingly acted.😩🥺😭

Sad fact: when Harry came back from the dead in DH2 George turned to his side to tell Fred but he didn’t see anyone because he forgot Fred had died (You can see that in the film if you look closely at George)

I love the way Allan says Severus's last line. I don't know why, it's just so much different than all the others he says to Harry.

I interpreted Dumbledore saying " severus, please" as him pleading with severus to keep his word and kill him rather than him trying to help snape keep up appearances

In response to Mrs. Weasley‘s asking of the platform number, I believe she was just saying it to make sure her kids knew it, like a teacher saying “ now what’s 5+3 again?”

I really appreciate how he did the main characters first instead of waiting till the end and making us wait- even tho l know we could’ve skipped- it’s just nice cuz most channels will wait till the end to do the main characters to make ppl watch the whole video.

Fitting that Umbridge's first and last lines shows how phatetic of a woman she is deep inside. Not even being good at lying, just abusing her power.

1:45 I like the theory that Dumbledore told Molly that Harry would be going to hogwarts alone and wouldn't know what to do so she purposely asked the question in Harry's vicinity to help him. I like to think that Molly had been helping Harry from the very start, quite touching.

the first line of Dumbledore were "I should have known" to professor McGonagall on page 9 last line of the second last paragraph in harry potter and philosopher's stone

I noticed that Dobby’s first word we heard in the movies was “Harry” and his last was “Potter”, that was heart breaking

About Dumbledore's final line when living, I don't think that was acting. While it might have come accross as a plea for Snape not to kill him, I think it was a plea for Snape to follow through with their plan.

My take on Dumbledore's last line while alive is that he's begging Severus to kill him. Severus had expressed ambivalence about carrying out Dumbledore's wishes. I think Dumbledore was afraid Severus would chicken out at the last minute and asked him once again, "please."

What I love about the graveyard scene in the movie is how the echo of James seems to be holding his arm out to keep Harry's arm steady, and not let him lose the connection too soon. (Cedric's death didn't start me crying, Harry's parents talking to him REALLY turned on the waterworks!)

The '' Severus.. please.." I always thought to have the underlying meaning of: ''please Severus, do it so Draco doesn't have to". Especially because they talked together about the importance of Draco not tainting his soul

I think Dumbledores phrase "please" has a double meaning, pretending to beg for his life but begging for his death by the hand of Snape instead of Draco... i think its pretty descent writing, props to J.K.R and you, summing up all these lines.

I don't think Dumbledore was acting when he begged Snape. I think he was begging him to follow through on his promise to kill Dumbledore to save Malfoy's soul. "Severus... please" isn't about him pleading for his life it's him pleading for Snape to finish it

I do love that "But why on earth should that mean that it is not real" line from Dumbledore, I don't know why but when I first read it, I imagined Dumbledore saying it very loud with a very big smile on his face. I made me see that moment as very triumphant.

I think dumbledores last line was him genuinely pleading, but not for his life. He wanted Severus to do as they had planned to help him avoid a humiliating death, to prevent Malloy from becoming a murderer when he clearly didn’t want to kill dumbledore and to help snape get in better with Voldemort (make him more trustworthy to help with the plan). I think he was worried snape wouldn’t do it cos they had been arguing in the Forrest where snape said he didn’t want to be the one to do kill him anymore.

I legit started crying during when you showed Lupin's last line and then even harder when you showed Lily's last movie line "Always" 😢😢😢

Plot twist: this videos was actually Morgan's strategy of revealing his voice modulation talent to us. Who knew he would be able to correctly immitate all 60 of character's voices

I love how Grindelward stayed loyal to Dumbledore eventhough they hated each other. That showed that he loved him truly, he died being loyal to his lover.

In case you didn’t know, when Dumbledore said Severus Pls it was because he wanted snape to kill him and was pleading him since snape was reluctant

I remember when Luna said her first lines I chuckled. _“Had a good summer, Luna?” Ginny asked._ _“Yes,” said Luna dreamily, without taking her eyes off Harry. “Yes, it was quite enjoyable, you know. You’re Harry Potter,” she added._ _“I know I am,” said Harry._ And the part when I cracked up as when: _Neville chuckled. Luna turned her pale eyes upon him instead._ _“And I don’t know who you are.”_ _“I’m nobody,” said Neville hurriedly._

Can we all take a moment to appreciate that Luna knew Harry was about to go to his death, yet helped him because she knew she couldn’t stop him.

What's sad is how the majority of these lines didn't make it to the movies. Ron's last line says a lot about his character and should 100% have been included.

Honestly, I never read Albus's line "Serverus...please..." as acting. What I saw and heard was Dumbledore begging for Snape to continue the plan, the please wasn't to save his life, the please was to end it, the greatest and biggest thing he ever asked from Snape.
