Movies, TV shows, comics, and books have always played a huge part in my life. On this channel I take my love of those areas and my college education to make videos that talk about, explain, and break down my favorite parts of those mediums. I hope you guys enjoy my videos as much as I enjoy making them!

4:48 You may know this already, but in the book, Saruman is only kicked out of the Order of Wizards, and loses his staff, but he and Grima remain alive in Orthanc until Saruman convinces Treebeard to let him and Grima go free. Later, he takes over the Shire, and Frodo and co. rally the Hobbits, and defeat Saruman, then he is killed by Grima at Bag End, and then Grima is killed by angry Hobbits.
Hope we get a follow-up video where you all discuss how you felt about the trilogy. I really feel like this video is missing a more in-depth discussion at the end.
I don’t think Gambon is at all to blame for his portrayal in this film. He is only following the direction and writing he is given. I think he was just as good as Harris.
The scene of everyone bowing to the hobbits is so overlooked. The hobbit starts with in a hole in the ground. Showing how hobbits lived at the lowest parts of the world and in that shot they are on top of the world. Every race is bowing to them. Tolkien loved showing that it’s always the unexpected people that change the world.
I find Gollum fascinating, too. Aaww! I was hoping you’d speak about two of my favourite parts; Gandalf and Pippin galloping through Minas Tirith and the lightning of the beacons, but you can’t fit in everything. I’ve really enjoyed your commentary on all three films. You’re all very funny.
I have only recently been listening to all of the audiobooks of the books (after watching the movies for years) and enjoying them so much especially someone (me) who wants to be a writer! Growing up, I wasn’t allowed to read or even watch the movies and when I was, I didn’t finish the books cause life happened. It’s nice now to listen to them for the first time as I’ve just started Deathly Hollows! These videos got recommended to me only a few days and now I’m onto this one! Wow! Keep it up! Can’t wait for Deathly Hollows as I have 14 hours and 3 minutes left of the book! 🩵
Sorry man, but I totally disagree with you. First movie is... okay. Doesn’t bring anything to the table, besides easter egg and nostalgia bait. Second movie, definition of trash. Third, impossible mission to try to save the franchise. As a fan of the books and the movies, I’m glad those movies died. I’m sick of Hollywood thinking they can throw whatever mediocre movie to us, without putting any effort and expecting us to buy into them. If they were trying to make an actual good story... we would’ve seen it.
I have always found it interesting that Lord Voldemort was so into blood purity when he was in fact muggle born. "Surely you didn't think I was going to keep my FILTHY muggle father's name?" (Chamber of Secrets). The historical significance of much of what we see in the Harry Potter books and series of movies is simply staggering.
I’m almost certain that in the Deathly Hallows, it’s written that the reason they don’t multiple the food is because it looses nutritional value and flavor when you duplicate it. So it would basically starve them faster and taste bad while eating it.
Amazing video Movieflame and I have question for you guys are you going to watch the Hobbit Next I was just wondering???????? A another thing keep up the amazing work on the videos and have a fantastic Day!!!!!!!
Yes, Umbridge is the most evil character in the series. She sent dementors into Litttle Winging to give the dementor's kiss to Harry. She certainly did not know that Harry could cast a patronus. This was attempted murder by proxy, abusing her authority at the Ministry of Magic. She was also ready to use the cruxiatics curse on Harry to interrogate him. That on top of all the evil crap she did to children at Hogwarts while she was there. She was not fighting for her life like Voldemort. She was not afflicted with lycanthopy like Greyback. She was plain vile.
nah, i swear this is fake !!! think about it, who has ever heard of these characters and why is there such a small gap between salazar slytherin and Voldemort- salazar slytherin was alive 1000 years ago !!! it makes no sense!!!!!
My favorite two favorite moments didn't even meet this list. First, the bank robbery and the response by the Weasley's radio program. Second, Neville Longbottom pulling the sword from the sorting hat and slicing off the head of Nagini. This scene was one of the best in the entire book but it seemed to be very downplayed in the movie.
Frodo is actually quite a bit older than Sam. I can't remember their exact ages, but Sam is in his late 20's/early 30's and Frodo is in his 50's. Plus, Frodo is his employer and he's a Baggins. There's some power behind the name.
Who is this entitled, misinformed, self-important harpy anyway? One hour of research would put the lie to ALL the points she attempted to make. Edit" I noticed that everyone in the comments refers to this entity as "they". Obviously, that is a she. I would give her a dislike and tell RU-vid to never recommend one of her videos to me again just for the whiny, annoying, little girl voice alone.
Tbh jumping in front of ur only child to save their life is just an average brave parent. I feel like I'd do that for my dog lol. Lily should've just been average brave since like w the DA, other ppl joined the Order. And her times facing off against Voldemort weren't necessarily her going to find him. The books made it seem like he found her. She was no doubt brilliantly skilled but I wouldn't call that brave. I mean, Sirius is much braver imo & he would've jumped in front of a teenage Harry too to save his life. I don't see recklessness as any less brave.
