I understand you have so much to contend with being a business owner and always helping others and your family. We get it. I just love to see you get to the projects you yourself are passionate about since you spend so much time helping others with their’s. You’re a great guy Brent and you deserve it.
ADHD sucks. I struggle with focus so much. I'm starting cognitive therapy which I'm hoping will help. So much love for you Brent. One day at a time. You take on so much and as an empath you want everyone to be happy to try and control the energy around you. Be kind to yourself boss. Love you dude!
ADHD. do what my son did, cut out anything with preservatives or colors. took about 3-4 weeks but he is much better and off the meds. this might work for you or not, everyone is different.
I have struggled with it for 51 years. Since before it even had a name or at least was used. I never even heard of treatment until my nephew turned 8. I have so many hobbies and projects. I woodwork in a small shop with no big doors that leak in the cold if it's too cold I have leather work inside as well as ammunition reloading and gunsmithing. I carve pictures or names or classic rifling on gunstocks. I carve gunstocks. I build cars and bikes from a bagged Halston stepside to my prerunner Nissan hardbody I'm 4.3 Chevy swapping to the mudding or rock toy jeep that's also getting a 4.3. I have my Harley Dyna Sturgis that's ever evolving. That's when I'm not helping or visiting with my new grandson (he just turned 1) I still try to spend time with my sons riding or shooting/hunting. We are planning a big family camping trip over a few weeks to different national parks and a route 66 run in the car that started it all my 1956 vw oval sliding ragtop I've had since high school. I'd like to redo it one last time since I'm already breaking down so it's good to go when my grandson is old enough. Though his dad is having me help rebuild ground up his Toyota Supra we built when he was in high school. So I get having adhd as I get distracted for a new project or hobby or which one yo oh look a hummingbird at my feeder collection I have to wind down in the evenings....lol
Brent, We love you how you are. Be kind to yourself. I support you working on your physical health. When I began to address my mental health issues (anxiety) my back pain began to resolve. Just food for thought. Meditation changed my life. I would love to share some resources with you if you would like.
Don't even pay those comments any attention, they think there's unlimited money and unlimited time and energy to do all the things THEY DEMAND you work on. Promise you the silent majority isn't upset with you for the type of content or the quality I actually quite enjoy the long form videos where you're just working on stuff around the shop. I ain't here for fancy 6 second drag cars or none of that, I'm here for the journey. I'm living vicariously through your videos, I don't have the time, money or know how to do what you do, that's why I'm here. Personally I like the n600 more than the bully or sho'nuff.

I completely understand the back pain Brent I just had a 2 day surgery in February 2024 and start PT this month it’s life changing for sure. I hope you get back somewhat where you were soon.
It's way more fun seeing you tinker with this little two cylinder and figuring out the little quirks of it then just dumping a new engine in it and making it look like every other car.
Brent you bring so much positive energy to the car world regardless of the situation and that's why I have followed for so long those projects will get done when they get done we don't need and explanation you just keep doing you.

And life will get easier and then it gets hard again but you have a big team around you your whole family some people don't have a structure like that when you're going towards this path is supposed to feel this way but you're gonna make it you don't realize the foundation you build And you're also starting your own event congratulations many more to come
Love all you guys with the PFI crew. Mental health is a real thing I started therapy 1 yr ago this month and it's help me alot. You are so positive and your smile is contagious. Jamie to it is great to have such a good friend and partner that's there through the thick and the thin man. I wish I had a group that's as driven as yours. Keep that head up man. I'm just a youtube junky that gets excited seeing the PFI crew, the boostedboiz, and cleetus and friends post anything.
I'm glad to see you active again. I know that back problems should be taken seriously. I have been sent from one hospital to another for far too long. Now 17 years and 6 operations later I still have pain. It's manageable now, but it affects our family's entire life. Projects and other jobs take much longer, but I don't give up. I look forward to your videos. I'm glad to see you back at work, but your health is more important than anything.

Ha this is awesome. I had one of these back in the mid 70s. I found it down at Newport Beach. The roof was caved in. I bought it for 250 bucks drove down the street about a half a block and popped the roof out, put a Surf Rack on it and use it for our surf wagon For a while, strap a couple long boards on that thing and it was dangerous on the freeway, would almost get ❤airborne. It was a lot of fun and got extremely good mileage. 😎😎😎😁😁😁

Great to see the mini N600 content. We had one from new, handled like a Go Kart, and would almost do 90mph. Some have had motorcycle engines fitted too. Good luck Brent.

I got diagnosed with arthritis in my lower back Brent, got on a non narcotic adhd med, been going to physical therapy, watched what I was eating and am only drinking water now. Down from 280 to 234 and hopefully still going. You got this… it’s not hard
I was In denver from pa with my two sons recently and really wanted to stop to say hi check out the shop but didn't know how you guys feel about that. I hope all is well and we will watch and enjoy at whatever frequency you post and whatever budget you have. I've said it before we're here because of you as a person not for what you can give us! That exploded balancer is why i only use sfi approved ati or fluid damper balancers on anything high performance or high rpm. Not that they'll never explode, but their far less like to.

Cool little project, and what you do with it is going to be down to what you expect from it. Personally, I like the idea of keeping the "stock" engine, and playing around with it to see what you can get out of it - maybe see what used engines you can pick up for "learning" moments?

Please tell me that's a chain link fence post cap on your intake plenum. I thought I was the only one who would literally use whatever gets the job done that's laying around. Love the ingenuity and upcycling.
