What I like about watching at home you can go back and replay. I got up close to the screen to see the beast burning and it indeed had the head of a canine. Its definitely not a earth jackal and it is huge. Earth jackals are tiny. Btw if they make a sequel to this I want st least part of it to show us flasbacks. We need to see how that crazy cult made that pact with satan to summon the beast. We need to see how they went about this. Obviously the devil put his soul into it and when it was burning left.
I indeed saw it coming in earlier in the movie. This is apparently Arkasha Stevenson film directorial debut. It's a fantastic first go. The casting and their performance was amazing! The cinematography was beautiful and the score was *chef's kiss*. I enjoyed this quite more the Immaculate. You should definitely now check out The Omen. I loved your reaction, by the way!

Omg yes. I wish i could have put more of my reaction on it but that copyright claim kept hitting me so i had to crop a lot of things i wanted to keep in. But i was confused as hell but she was so good doing it haha. It was freaky!! I loved how different it was from other posession in other movies.
It was so good. Im gonna loop who did this movie and see what else they did! That scene of Margaret in the riot and the nun looking back at her. So good. The color was perfect the slowmotion was perfect. I always think of that scene.
Nah, the sister won't be able to kill Damian. Only one thing can kill him. Or, one of 7 things. I highly recommend the original 1976 Omen film that immediately follows this. 😁

Also, "Revelation" wasn`t originally supposed to be a prophecy of distant future events at all, that was a misinterpretation by editors and translators who added all the crazy symbolism and Devil shit to the book to distract Christians from their contemporary oppression under Greek and Roman rule.

I know, I wasn`t trying to be condescending and I`m sorry if I came off that way. But yeah, I suspect in the upcoming sequel which will also be directed by Arkasha Stevenson we`ll learn more about the jackal and how the Secret Church came into contact with it for the ritual.
You should of watched the original trilogy ist Pamela, then you’d no what the omen is about understand it better only my opinion as it’s a classic you need to watch, The Omen, Omen 2 Damien omen, and The final conflict the 3rd film.But you can do it the way your doing it I think tho watching knowing the original trilogy would make this prequel more powerful.
Does anyone think this has been done before with IMMACULATE its exactly like watching the same movie.It’s a similar story and feel with a nun being pregnant with a immaculate conception and that’s also a newish movie.
Thats what i was thinking while watching, its pretty much Immaculate but 2hrs long haha. I have a feeling religious horror might be making a come back. I just hope they dont all do the same theme as those 2 movies. There is so much more to explore 😋
I MUCH prefer this to immaculate though. Immaculate was a fun little horror movie that's 'ok' until the last 5 minutes, which are amazing. I felt that this one 'hit the ground running' so to speak, much sooner. and This plot was more than just to scare you, it had deeper themes etc. reminds me of when I was little and Armageddon and Deep impact came out the same month, or Volcano and Dantoes peak. Hollywood seems to like to do that
