Hi mate good video Don't worry about the crown gard it is made to rest on the table of the saw and lift as the workpiece goes through that's why it has such a long front so it rides up over the top. Look forward to the next
Fascinating how the dust extractor hose for blade guards are always at the rear- where the dust isn't. Usually have a very small hose, joining to the main one at right angles. Almost guaranteed to be ineffective... I feel a design coming on!
