What a brilliant video. I was born and bred in Middlesbrough and Redcar was our go-to holiday spot for years. My Scottish Gran had a holiday shack in Coatham and when we were kids she would tell ghost stories and frighten us all to death !!!

Lovely to watch 😊 My grandfather was a Redcar fisherman and steelworker, and so was my dad (retired now). I always think of my grandad when I'm on the beach, he loved it so much. I'm very proud of our little town, its history and its hard-working people.

Born in BORO, lived in Redcar till I was 16 then left the town for work in London in 1981. These programs make me realise I didn’t know what we had. The sea, sand and those boats and tractors to play on. I’m going to go home and appreciate it

My first meal upon my return to Redcar from California was a fine lobster caught by my cousin David Robinson whose father was Tom, a past curator of the lifeboat museum. Vera Robinson,Tom's wife, was a lifelong supporter of the RNLI and was honoured by the Queen for her efforts. Lovely video!

I love this video. I wish their were subtitles though... the accent at the beginning is too thick for me to understand most of it.
