I’m placing bets now that the reason Cicada hates Metas is because when Nora helped Barry it cause a piece of rubble to destroy his home and knock out his daughter
The story is predictable, The true Villains are the society he probably asked for help and nobody came to his aid. Society turned him into a villain and now it is reaping their harvest.
@@TheJayair you think you deserve help because you ask for it? Society is the villain? You're an idiot bro. Everybody has there own lives. Nobody deserves anything just because they exist.
Nope, its not David Hirsch, Orlin Dwyer is Cicada in the tv show due to XS changing the timeline. Not sure if its the case but it looks likes someone's just Wiki'd Cicada and came here and posted it. If your a fan of the Flash why don't you watch the show. Cicada is an amazing villian! Orlin was a miserable man that hated his life, his job and did not have a relationship with his family. Then his sister was murdered by a meta or Meta(s)? and he became the custodian of his niece Gracie. At first he greatly struggled at fatherhood but found purpose in it, in time he and his niece became like father and daughter and he had a new lease on life..until The Flash and XS destroying the Thinkers dark matter satellite caused debris tainted by dark matter to fall from the sky hitting both Orlin and Gracie, putting her in a comatose state and greatly wounding him. He then vowed to kill all meta's convinced that they only bring misery, intent on ending his own life once he had completed his goal including taking out the Flash. There's more to it than that but thats some of it from his origin ep.
Am I the only one who kind of rolled his eyes when I heard all the theories about how Cicada is from the future and Nora's brother or something?I am surprised to find out the daughter is alive and in a coma.
So according to what Nora said that they never catch him, even with the help of the justice league ( and you know who is a part of it, *whisper* He likes Bats*). They never did because he might die from whatever was shown to us in the video. This is just sad for him :((
At least it is not another "Let's Guess Who The Masked Villain Is This Season". Getting tired and bored of those! Both Flash and Arrow were guilty of that.
@@Uouttooo I liked that game but knowing what I now know of comics it's really was actually easy to guess, hell Spectacular Spiderman did a better job making me think Norman Osborn wasn't the Green Goblin
There is something good in this guy Cicada,he cared for his daughter as well as the other’s daughter. Like when Nora shouted dad when Cicada was trying to kill him.As well as the baby girl who cried in this scene,he didn’t kill both their dads. Well,I think he is an interesting guy and somehow I hope he turns good. But if he turns good that soon, who would be the real season villain? At this point,I afraid his daughter may die so he could really become evil. Anyway,I hope there could be a speedster villain this season.
The Lighting Bolt Dagger = Nora's Speed-Force that hit Cicada's. This dagger was created from the satellite and dark matter from Barry and Nora's. The dagger must have hit a men and this is men became Cicada ever since. I believe the satellite parts also hit Cicada's daughter and she was knocked out (coma). This is why Cicada who we think is the villain is for revenge of every meta-human!
So that's why Cicada speared the flash the moment he could finish him anytime he wanted after he heard XS calling him "dad". He understands what is like to have a child and he imagined how his daughter would feel if he would die like that.
Smh. (The only word I can come up with. Cuz to much of possibilities of how this WHOLE SEASON may happen jus flashed across my mind and "smh" is all I can come up with)
His name is Chris Klein and he's starred in movies like American Pie 1, 2 and American Pie: Reunion. There are other American Pie-movies but htey don't starr the same people. If you haven't seen them then I suggest you go do that because they're hilarious.
I think a meta killed his wife and left his daughter in a coma and she is all he has now. He would’ve needed something else to drive him into killing metas
I don't get Cicada is also Meta right? He can fly and can control that dagger. I am guessing that dagger is just a piece of shards that belonged to things that destroyed his family or something. He got turned into a meta in the process?
Can't this season end without Cicada dying then? Couldn't Barry and the Team capture him and offer their expertise? If anything won't the real villain of the season be the Meta who did that to him and his daughter?
Cicada is the same guy from American Pie, Chris Ostreicher. But later on after the American Pie series ended he moved to Central City to start a new life, start a family and later changing his name. Eventually he and his wife gets divorced some years before the "Enlightment"-attempt. And more shit hits the fan when Nora and Barry destroys the Star Labs satellite and it's broken parts scatters around the city. And the rubble must've hit Cicada which explains his cut/wound on his chest. And his daughter must've been affected by that incident that put her in a coma which leads 'Cicada' to become more unhappy.
Cicada left Barry alive cause he wanted Vibe to awake his daughter out of the coma. Cicada was created at the day of enlightenment. Nora's Speed Force/dark matter that was infused in the broken parts of Satellite. Because she helped Barry Allen to take down the "Satellite" wich hit some random men. This men was hit by the broken parts of the satellite and her daughter was hurt too. The thing is the dark matter of Nora Allen was infused in these broken satellite parts. Wich created "meta-technology" like the phone with hypnotizing ability.. One of the Satellite broken part was made of glass and metal and carbon. This broken part Cicada made a dagger out of it. Cicada's power is to drain the power of every meta-human that is nearby including flash. Nobody can actually kill Barry since he's the only person that is the source of the Speed-Force. In other words Cicada kills Barry and loses his power for good. The dagger broken part of the satellite that hit Cicada hit his chest. It's a real deep wound but as you saw when Nora was hit by the bullet that stopped her Speed. Cicada grow stronger I think the dagger that he carries is linked with Nora's Speed-Force. In simple words: Nora's Speed Force = Cicada's Lighting Dagger Cicada's Lighting Dagger = The Balance Between Nora-Cicada like 50/50 power sharing. Nora Allen got hit by Iris's speed dampening bullet = Nora lost speed temporary. Meaning Cicada grows stronger and Nora gets even slower and can't tap into the Speed-Force. This is the real reason why Nora Allen is slow! Because Cicada has his power through Nora Allen. Just like Eobard Thawne (evil Harrison Wells) has his power through Barry Allen.
@@SrEobardThawne ironic how they can't catch him but Barry is fast! Though something funny they can do is just ask the Legends to use the Wave Rider and then run him over 😂 that'll catch him alright!
Thawne, Zoom, Savitar, Devoe, and Cicada didn't become villains on there own free will. Zoom, Savitar, and Cicada didn't ask for any of it. All of 5 of them became villains for a reason
I'm gonna reply to both of you at once. Thawne is Barry's fanboy gone wrong. He wanted to be the Flash, but realized it's impossible. So he decided to be Reverse Flash instead. Yeah, basically no reason, just like in the comics. Thawne wouldn't be in Barry's time period if he wasn't Reverse Flash in the first place. His whole problem in S1 was due to his own fault, killing Barry's mother. The reason? To make Barry suffer. Why? Because his rage that he couldn't be the Flash. Understand? There's simply no reason on the big picture. He just did things for himself. Hunter was a serial killer even before he became Zoom. Yes, he had traumatic past, but that doesn't excuse his crimes. Zoom's motivation as a villain is...nothing. At first he wanted to be faster and be the fastest speedster, then he wanted to rule, then he wanted to destroy the multiverse, all for no reason at all but to measure his twisted definition of success. He was also emotional sadist. He played as Jay Garrick the hero simply because he was bored of being a villain. But it's simply a lie, he just wanted to create hope so he could destroy it. Truly egostical villain with no purpose but simply being evil. Savitar was Barry's time remnant. He also had no reason but to simply perserve his life. It's pretty complicated for Savitar but in the end he only lived for himself, no big picture goal for humanity whatsoever. Just another selfish villain. DeVoe, on the other hand, planned "The Enlightenment" to "save" humanity, at least in his mind. At first he truly believed it but then he became corrupt and wanted to rule more than to actually save humanity, but at least his first goal came from good intention, despite the twisted approach. Cicada wanted to kill all meta humans because mainly of revenge, but his other reasoning, along with the corrupt police (forgot the name) that gave him list of meta humans names and address was to save the city. He truly believes metas are dangerous and all of them should be eliminated. Basically what I'm saying is if a villain's goal is only for themselves then it basically has no reason. If a villain wanted to "save" other people, whether it's the world, a country, a city, or simply the loved ones (have to be innocent), then it has reason.
