This wasn’t it bro. The movie was trash my guy. CGI was terrible. Berry was annoying. Batman was him my nigga. He was actually doing Batman shit. Supergirl was fire. The cameos were fire. The ending when he had to let his mom die was heartbreaking. Beginning and end was trash. Middle was fire.

Flash went back in time. But didn’t see who killed his mom. This movie was wonky.

Its time that Eoboard Thawne/Reverse Flash is introduced in the big screen, he's Barry's "Joker", "Lex Luthor"..I might even say he's DC greatest villan for the simple fact of the lengths he's gone to destroy/ruin. There's so many stories DC can go with him.

Watched this movie yesterday. Disappointed. Miller was annoying as hell. Jokes were a cringe circus. I just can't. The only bright thing was Batman. Supergirl was whatever and final battle was underwhelming. 4/10

I really wanted to love this movie but after seeing it I’m kinda disappointed. Christina Hodson is not a reliable writer for the future of DC. Her script is so crammed in and fast paced that it affects the overall impact of the narrative and execution. The dialogue was pretty cringe at times too. The character arcs across this film was handled poorly, their motivations shifted so fast that it feels forced. They need to do a full reboot for the new DC universe, nobody cares about these characters and it’s showing in the box office numbers 6/10 movie, but shoutout to Andy for providing some of the most epic Batman sequences in live action, keaton was going crazy lol

This discussion brought me back to OG Jody's Corner 😂. Jody I know you have been a proponent of fandom not being the same in the past few years. To me this video proves the fandom is still alive, the movies have just been trash. Btw, I didn't find the first act boring at all. We start in the middle of a Justice League mission with a surprise cameo, leading into the emotional talk from Ben about scares making us who we are, then we see how Barry's mom died. For me this movie was a SHORT 2 hours and 30 minutes. Flew by.

It wasn’t the universes colliding that changed Ben afflict to George Clooney. It was the tomato sauce. When 18 year old Barry sacrificed himself all the damage done to the universes reversed. Everything went back to normal and our Barry changing his past (tomato sauce) created a a different timeline. Hence George Clooney and maybe other recast. A whole new dceu. New 52? Maybe?

Tom cruise seems to have a pretty shitty taste in movies. Do yourself a favor and watch the animated adaptation of Flashpoint Paradox. It's one of the best DC media ever.

Hudson got credit for the script but it went through 4 directors and both Andy and Ezra did some uncredited rewrites to make it more like Back to Future.

CGI was really bad

I would love to agree with you Jody! Love the channel by the way! But the flash is not better than No way home! Not in the same universe or multiverse lol! You do know that No way home made 1.9 BILLION DOLLARS!!! This flash movie was decent but I don’t see it making over 400 million worldwide throughout its theatrical run! Comparing this to spider man no way home I feel is not a fair comparison I would rather it be compared to Dr strange and the multiverse of madness! And that movie made over 900 million! I don’t even see the flash making that! But hey that’s just my opinion

After just coming from seeing the movie, Barry putting the tomatos on the top shelf is what changed the ending with George Clooney. When the young Barry died it reset the universes from colliding.

This movie was a disappointment. Cgi was bad, the liberties with the story was not good, Ezra was so daggum annoying times 2 and the cgi cameos were just weird.

On paper I should love this movie. But the CW type special FX in so many action scenes totally took me out of so much of this film. There were several parts I liked in this. I would give it a light 7.

I wish I was part of you guys, I want to give my opinions. Even though I'm anti lgbtq because I'm a christian, I think ezra did a good job acting. I agree though that the mom should not have been Hispanic, I kept asking myself if Barry was mixed now. I give this movie an A-

Just like Shazam, this movie is missing Superman. DC will go no where without it's leader. I will give it a 6.5/10

Saw it yesterday night. Ezra’s Flash isn’t my Barry Allen but it is it’s own iteration and it does excellent as that. Ezra’s acting performance was dope. Parts dragged and some stuff was anticlimactic but overall good movie. 8/10

Michael Keaton, Sasha Calle and Batfleck were the best parts of this movie IMO. I thought Ezra did a good job during the more serious/dramatic scenes, but this movie pretty much confirmed why I just don't like his version of Barry Allen/The Flash, especially the forced, awkward humor and that second Barry was straight up insufferable. I really wanted to love this movie, but the bad CGI and awful attempts at humor really took me out of it at times. I thought it was alright overall, but I wouldn't give it anything higher than like a 7/10 which is like a B/B- at best for me because at least I wasn't bored watching it, but I was expecting so much more after all the early hype. Also, they just keep doing Michael Shannon dirty in these movies, because once again he's wasted as Zod.

That was not reverse Flash. Reverse Flash is NOT Barry, that Flash was Barry. That was that Savitar nigga. Reverse Flash would have made much more sense. Just cuz u prevent yo daddy from goin to the store don’t mean reverse flash still don’t pull up n murk them both. They retconned him n made the movie make much less sense

I saw The Flash yesterday. It was okay. I wouldn't call it the best superhero movie of all time. There were cool moments and the dramatic scenes were done well. Michael Keaton was awesome and the cameos were cool. The comedy is very hit or miss. I'm still confused about what is considered the altered DCEU and new DCU after watching this. Hopefully they explain it in the future

Yeah..Batman carried this movie to the goal line

Nah Jody, huge fan of your videos but think your love for DC characters has you overhyping this movie. Don’t get me wrong it’s overall a good move that I had fun with, but the first dragging act and the HORRENDOUS CGI sprinkled throughout the whole movie by itself is enough to drop its max to a B for me and the finale is nowhere near good enough to make up for it. In the DCEU I still have Wonder Woman and Aquaman over this. In the past three years for the MCU, yeah it’s been mostly shit but I absolutely have Guardians 3 over this along with Eternals, No Way Home, and Shang Chi (and I know you’re excluding animation but Across the Spiderverse shits over everything from both the DCEU and MCU). This movie really only works once Michael Keaton comes in and damn is he epic here. Even Supergirl is extremely well realized, I wouldn’t mind a full movie with this Supergirl. But Ezra Miller’s Flash has been a lame in every outing before this and while this is by far the best we’ve seen of him and they actually have his story some emotional weight here that he delivered on, just that isn’t enough to elevate this movie to the heights you’re claiming. I’m in the B/B- range with it. (And yeah I’m really stuck on that bad CGI, quite frankly it’s about as bush league as the water bottle in Game of Thrones to allow SO MUCH of it to make the final cut)

My man on the right made a good point with how Kara shouldn’t have known to use her powers, but I think he was off on Ezra’s acting. He did a great job imo.

This movie was horrible

This was a solid B movie. Certainly overhyped by the DC execs. I found the story/narrative to be the most intriguing aspect. Am curious if this has any ramifications for the DCU moving forward as it feels like things were mainly affecting Barry. Barry was causing all this chaos and no one was really checking him other than other versions of himself. I can see why Gunn went with Andy to do the DCU Batman movie, Andy did some good work with that character. And though Ezra did good, they still carry way too much baggage and that cannot just go unpunished.

JUL + Flash Film= Epic Discussion. I saw this film last night and it was 🔥. So many epic moments and OMG Michael Keaton aka Batman 😤. There were some issues the pacing, Zod and being underutilized fully, wanted more Supergirl, blown opportunity for a Reverse Flash cameo/intro. Action A-, Comedy B-, Drama B+, Acting B-, Pacing C+, CGI A-, Characters A-, Villain C+, Story B+, Script B+. Very said moment at the end with him having to say goodbye to his mom once again, but extremely happy to see his father free. Overall this film I enjoyed and yes it will make a billion at the box office. A- 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. #DCRISES

Similar to no way home I liked the movie but can’t help but feel underwhelmed/disappointed. Ezra just is not a good Barry Allen. Even without the legal trouble he wouldn’t be. I thought the Keaton intro was goofy and terrible. Affleck was great as usual. The cameos at the end were wonky and didn’t hit hard enough

Eman take on The Flash movie is pure trash! The Flash movie was good. It’s not the best movie of the year but it did what it had to do for a enjoyable movie. Eman is reviewing the movie by going off the comics and the animated movie and that’s just TRASH! The movie hit all the beats for what you want from a movie. It has action, good dialogue, decent CGI and it has heart. Ezra Miller even with his issues outside the movie did a good job and showed so emotion.

Just came out of the movie, and it was far better than I expected, esp after seeing the mixed/negative reviews. All the BatMen bodied it. Love this kind of Batman, comicbooky, epic fighting, gadgets, flying around. Keaton bodied those fighr sequences, I was amazed!! Not a fan of the super grounded no-personality depressing BatMan that Pattinson did. Ezra even felt far more matured in the movie compared to all his past appearances. CGI wasn't as bad as I expected, it was overall fine. Ezra suit looked wonky at times, and when he was running with all the effects. Overall very much enjoyable. But honestly, people don't like Ezra, flash aside. Ezra is not liked, so people already go into the film just waiting to hate it. That's a huge part of the mixed reception, people just don't like the existence of this film because of Ezra's behaviour.

The DC hate is real! Let me remind yall this movie 🎥 and Aquaman is not The future, in lamens terms James Gunn is Gonna get blame whether successful or not however there is a plan and a future!!! If I'm being honest this is a great first step in terms rebuilding credibility with the audience that DCbthis film may fall as time goes on howeverim happy with what I received even though this is 3 yrs too old but grade B+ film 🎥 despite the CGI. CGI is Absolute dog 💩, im adding that to my overall grade

!SPOILER! Im prob in the minority but i was underwhelmed. They Missed opportunity to have reverse flash as the villain for this story, doubt they will use him in later movies and revisit his mom dying again. Also think it was pretty weird how dad being home in the new timeline saved his mom from getting killed... trash pacing with laughable CGI at times that looked like The Mummy Returns and the younger flash was annoying af. i give it a C+ because of the Batmans otherwise id give it a lower grade.

I saw this movie I was at a loss for words. This movie was not good TO ME at all. That start of the movie was so bad a couple walked out in the first hour🤣💯. A lot of empty seats in the 9:30pm show. I hope DC just start everything over from scratch.

The movie had its blunders in certain areas. But as a flash fan , it felt fun seeing flash finally get a movie . Spider-Man has like an endless amount of video games and movies , Batman as well. It’s a shame it took them this long to give flash his own movie.

To me the point of the Aquaman end credit was to show that Aquaman 2 will be in the George Clooney universe so it’s not canon to the DCU. I don’t think Barry is in he’s universe because his father staying in jail was fixed point.

Solid 6 out 10 storyline not great

That tomato sauce theory actually makes sense because Batman said even stepping on the wrong blade of grass could have catastrophic effects so moving a can of tomatoes isn’t a very far stretch. It’s all because of that butterfly affect that the smallest things have the biggest affects. You could also argue it because how did the flash saving his mom make it so aquaman & cyborg don’t exist?

everytime that batman score came on my nigga i was bumpin in the theater. i love this movie. the storytelling with him and his mom really got to me. related to that so much. give this movie an A. seein that mother freaker again tonight ‼️‼️.

44:11 Dark flash didn't alter the timeline by pushing Barry out. He just made sure Barry was where he needed to be in time to create the origin of dark flash.

Michael Keaton embodied a Batman we’ve should of seen decades ago in live action. He had the intelligence, gadgets, combat. That scene was better than warehouse fight scene. If Andy is directing the brave and the bold W.

Would love to see more of her as the character l. Seeing Michael Keaton doing Batman shit as a Batman fan had me goin crazy🔥 As well as the universes colliding scene. I had issues obviously with the cgi and the slow pace in the beginning but this was a solid film overall 8/10
