Jimmy dale was one of the first to rec this towns classic. He joined jimmys band to sing it wirh him in the ulster hall belfast many years ago. The flatlanders first album changed things for a lot if musicans. Such a great recording, but the more electric stuff is great too. Respect is overdue to the texas flatlanders. It's great. First time I hear The Flatlanders. And just before I discovered Jimmie Dale Gilmore. And Dave Alvin. Such moments are great. It's hard to find good new music and artists and every time I do I feel good.
