Husband and wife Tony (Jeremy Clyde) and Angie (Barbara Flynn) go to stay with Tony's uncle Edward (John Le Mesurier) in his manor house. Angie develops a fondness for Uncle Edward and the pair eventually run off together.
Also featuring Harold Bennett (Are You Being Served, Dad's Army)

I remember Barbara Flynn in the Morse episode The Silent World of Nicholas Quinn. Great actress. Also Jeremy Clyde as one half of Chat Stewart and Jeremy Clyde, in the Morse episode Who Killed Harry Field, and the terrifying ghost story Shalcken the Painter.

12 degrees Celsius, not that chilly. Unless you have drafts, like those stately homes all do. Brits were used to living without central heating up to the 1980s!
