The Flow Fuse Hybrid Snowboard Binding Review 

I bought these for this season and I definitely think they're the best flow binding yet. My last pair was the NX2s and they were so heavy and stiff. I'm really loving these. Thanks for reviewing the hybrid in addition to the non hybrid. A lot of people forget about the hybrid.

I got these (2021 model) and a new jones mountain twin this year. I didn't even think about the responsiveness of these bindings, i just thought my new board was really good (which it is) but this review made me realize the bindings are what was making my turns so responsive. Thanks Kevin!

I bought the instinct fuse 2023 storm troopers color scheme. But Before I had the OG flow trilogy from the mid 2000s on an 2006 twin burton custom that was 9” 5/8 wide. Im 6’1 215lbs and 13 boot. So ,I felt i had too much toe flap when riding switch and turning into the mountain. Now, I upgraded to the instincts and with a 161w Lib tech stunk ape II board. Brah. Its a game changer for this 43 year old especially on the long af lifts. The slipper bindings seriously help mitigate the weight of the board on these tired joints. Also if you want to look like a pro on a flat cat track and unbuckle with minimal effort. The keep pushing until you get a good fall line and restrap without stopping. Yeah Flow binding gets super easy if you are familiar with a manual transmission. Clutch n gas transitions are butter with the flows.

So is the highback adjustable to get parallel with the heelside edge of the board? Thinking not given the whole cable system. I know that highback alignment is pretty critical for control/carving.

Hi Angry - I was wondering if you could provide me a Flow binding recommendation. I have Size 9.5 Lashed Double BOA boots by ThirtyTwo. I am likely going to purchase a Yes Typo 155 (or Jackpot 156), something that rips the whole Mtn, but also usable for park runs. I believe I'd prefer Hybrid version of Flows for the extra support, but I'm not set on that. 5'8" 165 lbs and just getting back into boarding - Would love to know what you think and if you could provide a few recommendations! Awesome review and I appreciate your help!

hoes the highback fold down under the straps for storage, like on a traditional binding? it's useful when carrying the board in a bag...

Damn!? would that highback work on a 2018 nx2 gt hybrid? Not a huge fan of the 2-piece with carbon highback, it's still soft af imao!

After three seasons, I can say that the setup is very difficult. Capturing that very moment of the ideal setting is difficult. The bottom strap is just a piece of plastic, and it is with this that the most problems. Either it’s too weak and the boot is loose, or you cannot zip up properly because it’s overtightened. These are good bindings, but be prepared for a tough start.
