I know this is an older video, but THANK YOU!! I have been struggling with my Flow Mayan Plus bindings. Can’t get in um for the life of me. Sounds like my straps are just too tight and I need to stop going traditional binding with um. 😂

Great review. I’ve got 3 sets of Flows: The originals, NX2s, and NX2-GT. I still have all of them. The NX2-GTs are far and above the NX2s. The ladders wore out fast on those, and also the footpads kicked out....but Flow was good(after a bit of hounding) about getting me new ladders and footpads. Still, I’m really stoked with the GTs. They go on my Rossi XV 163. I live on the Ice coast and responsiveness is key. I’m currently on my way back from an awesome pow trip to Brighton Utah(80 inches in 7 days!!!!!), and the combo did great there as well!

This has been one of the best reviews I've seen! Great details, and accurate information. I honestly Love my NX2 GT Hybrids! I bought them used last season, and all season I've been adjusting and tweaking them to my ride style. It's been awesome! After watching this, I might get a second one for my park board. Still tbinking about it.

How's the hybrid strap for quick entry? Does the toe cap stay in place or do you have to adjust it when you're strapping in?

Thanks for the review. I ride the nx2 GT hybrid on my ns big gun for charging with skiers and powder and fuse fusion on my nidecker escape for cruising with the family. Always wondered if hybrid was the right choice for the gt's. Love the quick edge to edge of the gt's in trees. Friends often wonder how a fat tall bloke with a 174cm board can weave through the trees faster than them 😊

Totally spot on review - have the NX2-CX’s, my most responsive bindings by far, compared with Genesis-X, Karakoram, and similar feel to Falcor - except the Falcor created a massive pressure point on top of my foot while the NX2-CX’s were super comfortable. Found myself clicking a notch looser to get ease of entry (gut response is to click tight like in traditional bindings), no noticeable difference in responsiveness. Definitely my go to binding.

Is there any problems with the hybrid toe cap? I have heard that it sometimes needs more small adjustment to get it right. I would like to by the hybrid but I am a little bit afraid to get to anoyed with a toe cap that needs to be put in place all the time. Anyone having theese issues? Or does it work just fine?

It takes longer to dial it in. If that's an issue then don't buy it.

Looking for a pair of NX2‘s to drive my Timeless as my Cartels feel too soft. Was originally thinking of the CX. Handled them in my local shop and liked the solid feel. Would prefer the fusion straps though. What are your thoughts on it? I’m 6‘4 and 260lb, so I need something solid. Thanks in advance.

riding NXT GT's currently . i tried a pair of Burton X Bases last week and the response was night and day and now i'm thinking of switching after 10 years on flow. Anyone find that there is not enough ankle/upper boot support on the flows? No matter how i adjust them, i find that my boot is the only think providing support.

I gave up on flows after trying the now O Drives. I no longer get sore feet and I have more response. I sold off all my flows and now run the Nows and Burton Genesis X (which pale In comparison to the Nows)

Anyone with Flows get any boot lift at the heel when going toeside? I think My XL's are slightly too big for my K2's.

I used to until i moved my heel cup in towards the toe side. You can adjust the heel cup aft-fore with two screws.

Adjust your highback forward lean. I haven't had any boot lift, but my forward leand is very high.

@@kbenti my forward lean and I very well acquainted. 😀 I have it set just a bit past where the natural boot angle is. If I go much beyond that, then the result is there is less total contact of the highback with the boot.

So wich one is more stiff (in hiback): NX2 GT (Hybrid) or NX2 CX (Hybrid)?

That's what I though. The CX has a hiback made of one piece of solid material, while GT has a hiback made of two pieces of different material. So the CX should be stiffer, right?... but... On their website, they say that those two have the same toe-heel stiffness (10/10) and that the CX have little LESS lateral stiffness (9/10) (?) So, just to be sure. When you say that CX is more stiff, you base your opinion on your personal experience?

If you put the right pair on there it could make for an exceptional carving cruiser.

@@AngrySnowboarder what would your suggestion be for mostly a mountain cruiser with overall comfort in mind. I board alot with my wife, kids, and teaching people so I don't want anything to aggressive.

@Angry Snowboarder I have a pair of Flow NXT GT's from 2018 and I ride them with my Kazu Kokubo 151 from 2019. It's a super fun and aggressive setup. But I was wondering if you knew if the hybrid and fusion straps are interchangeable to have a slightly different feel. Is the difference between the straps noticeable?

Dan you probably want to look at the Fuse or Fuse GT. Brandon I believe the straps are interchangeable, and there's a big difference between the fusion and hybrid straps.
