@@Hahahahaha-ug2st After he realised he was an ass he became nicer and I know this won't happen but he seems captain worthy now that he's not stupid ...MOM IM FAMOUS!!!!
@@Hahahahaha-ug2st he’s right though? Jaime does become the true captain of that team by the end, capped off by sacrificing his personal glory to figure out how to make perfect football perfect.
Fun fact as a Nigerian: Not really, The government were too corrupt and DUMB AF and Spent almost all it's money to just stay there for vacations. LITERALLY the dumbest shit like this happens 😂
He was the team captain but left the team and came back and wasn't the captain for a season. Edit: yes sorry I know I got that wrong he wasn't the captain, I remembered it wrong mf
in the real world people that do that are just disrespectful morons. I think it would be more inspiring to deal with it like adults and take a stand the right way. all this promotes is selfish behaviour and not choosing to pick the right choices.
Only problem is the sponsor can sue them now and unless they can find a new sponsor to accept the burden of paying off the old sponsor then they no longer have a job.
That honestly depends on what clauses are in the contract. Some have clauses that if the company is found to be involved in certain practices it can void the contract.
@@NASAgeekKatI guarantee you the only clauses like that in a sports contract would be related to player behaviour. A team isn’t going to take its sponsor over the coals
The least team I was a part of bullied me and ignored me. At the beginning I hung out with the girls who had no clue what they were doing since the girls who bullied me ignored them to. When they finally got the hang of volleyball the other girls started paying them attention and eventually the girls I helped starts bullying and ghosting me as well. Luckily they got their Karma last I heard the coach for the Varsity team noticed they were doing this and refused to let them on the team for the rest of high school so they all changed sports.
Same. The only person from my Hockey team to continue play ended up doing it in college while the rest of us ended up doing other sports. I wish I would have just continued with the team in the next town over like she did.
@echoonyoutube margin call. Really underrated movie with a lot of great actors. The quote I adapted was when one of the characters is telling another the depth of the issue they are in " well sam we are beyond close we broke through these limits in these last few weeks" It's a movie about based on the financial crash in 2008 and basically the shit housery the banks and trading companies were all up too.
Is this what liberals watch? Its funny how many of my comments are censored on here. it's almost as if your not allowed to figure out WokeNazis use race baiting and oppression politics to trick you against your own interests. Brought to you by Apple TV the company that uses slave labour for it's cell phones 😂😂😂😂 Liberalism is a mental disorder that leads to depression. Only you can make your life better, invest in yourself stop being a sucker
@@Rays_Bad_Decisionswhat about this is liberal a soccer team not wanting to support a sponsor who has destroyed part of their players country is pretty rudimentary
@@adf586 yes in liberal oppression politics, it's almost as if they mislead you to take advantage of you... How's that cell phone made with Chinese slave labour?? Theres more slavery in the middle east today than the entire US history. If your in Europe just visit a city and see what diversity has gotten you
First guy to volunteer had zero hesitation, bro supports his decision and works together as a team, encouraging all the others to do so, also bro just flat out agrees with his statement.
Just for some added context (and correct me if I'm wrong, it's been while since I've seen Ted Lasso), the last guy who put the tape on that said, "we're a team, ain't we." He had a history of being an asshole to just about everybody, including his teammates. They eventually stopped listening to him and started ignoring him, which he didn't take well. But he went though some major character development with some of the characters, and he started looking at things differently. This scene was the beginning of him not being an asshole for once, but being a proper team leader and a friend. Which is why when he asked for the tape, people were confused and asking what he was doing. It was a nice change at the time of the show. A much needed feel-good moment. I need to rewatch Ted Lasso. That show was so sweet.
Accurate. Slight correction. Jamie is repentant the moment he gets back to Richmond. But he is struggling to prove he’s changed. This isn’t the first time he’s tried to be better, it’s just the first time it worked, because he did it for Sam, not for himself. And Sam was one of the main targets of Jamie’s bullying.
The 2 guys above are taking this comment way too literally. The guy is just saying the dude in this video looks like greaslish not that he's ACTUALLY Grealish.
I’ve seen this enough, and also a couple clips. Guess I gotta finish my current series and then watch this. Too many people saying it’s great to ignore it.
They'd probably get financially penalized, as in all the athletes have contracts they signed requiring them to fulfill the sponsors their team's management coordinated. You're probably told, in advance, to take it up with the team owner, and if you don't they'll end your contract. Other teammates would've just told him this, this scenario makes no sense.
This is how you do a protest. Not by making it a problem for the everyday person, but by making a statement that will not go ignored without harming others
This is why football/soccer should always stand against those who abuse others This is the perfect example of standing up against wrong things and people supporting each others
He's still basically getting payed by them. The sentiment is nice, but there is still an underlying hipocrisy there. He did sign a contract for this club after all
@@methatis3013 I am still conflicted about this. Sometimes you have no control over what comes next after signing the contract. If i sign for a team and the team gets a new sponsor who dumps waste to my county's ocean, I would feel very uncomfortable wearing their logo on my chest. But I also believe football should be pure, away from politics and hate between countries (at least when it is being played), but then again, we have so many grudge matches ranging from religion, race and culture so idk
Being in a sports team for many years to grow with your teammates, I remember at tournaments fights would break out and the whole team would jump in XD
That's not really how it works. He has a contract to the club. The club takes decitions on sponsors. So basically hes showing that i am not gonna accept that money to the owner of the team and try to cause a change.
Saddest part is that practically any big enough company would deserve this treatment. It’s almost like the bigger the company, the more they deserve their misdeeds to be shown.
I love this show, so wholesome and fulfulling. They don't win every time, but they make each of the characters so real that you can't help but root for every one of them (except Rupert, he just gets what's coming to him)
@@legil2954 doesn’t matter,a impact is a still a impact no matter how small, how can you expect change when you aren’t willing to do the smallest of things
Even if something like this were to happen, the message is non existent. "This company is terrible and I refuse to wear thier name, however they still sign my check and fund my life".
