While it is a fact that some decisions do involve some very careful and serious thought, many (esp. in the case of seafarers ) are simply unavoidable. And the fact that such decisions must point to the correct course of action to be made in good time undoubtedly adds to its gravity. Seafarers may have a preponderance of experiences in having weathered many storms and still manage to come out alive and well, yet they invariably are aware that such 'track record' is never really a guarantee to constantly making good ones every time. Nevertheless, in mastering Force Field Analysis, this exercise of prudence in accurately gathering and weighing in all relevant odds considered from every conceivable vantage point with regards to the situation at hand still proves crucial in ensuring that rationality has been correctly factored in on having made 'the right move' in spite of whatever adversities were present at the time. As a result: the voyage continues, the vessel arrives port and cargoes are either loaded/offloaded. And all this happens as every concerned party who had a hand in the entire 'adventure' await the gleeful results of their concerted efforts! Once again, the seafarer has proven his indispensability in this global synergy of sorts!
