Ridiculous how mark ups are! Honestly it's the consumer's fault; people continue to pay for them. As person above said, these will not hold their value, wait 2 or 3 years and you can get one at half price and still fairly new. IMO.

I'm not sure what the point of this comment is, but anybody buying a $100,000 Bronco Raptor isn't worried about top noise and water leaks lmao. Also, no offense, your TRD Pro is a great rig and I don't think anybody would question that. But on a performance scale? It's not even in the same ballpark as the Raptor. Less power, less ground clearance, a worse 4WD Crawl Ratio, you are simply comparing Apples and Oranges. I think you might be more interested in the Raptor if you could afford it.

But why does it need to be a V8? I feel like the V6 makes so much power it just becomes a bragging thing to have a V8

However, if you think about it, as a daily driver, majority of the time you will be driving at normal or slow speeds because of traffic while commuting back and forth from work, or if you are going with the family. And at these times, a V8 sound beats anything. And if you get extra power from the V8, well that's just a win win... What I'm trying to say is, it is not always about the power. Sometimes I like to stand next to my car after visiting the supermarket for example, loading my groceries and then turn on remote ignition and enjoying that idle V8 sound... Hope that painted a picture for you :)

400 hp from a twin turbo isn't the same as 400 hp from a 302, 351, or even a 5.0. I've owned cars and trucks with all the above engines, and my current car has the same twin turbo as the Bronco Raptor. Not the same.

That’s the most solid argument for the V8 I’ve heard yet. Everyone says “should’ve had a V8” but when I ask why they don’t like the V6 because it makes so much HP & Torque, no one ever has a response! But if in your experience the EcoBoost engines are unreliable that tracks why you would want a V8

I’ll jump in, I agree it might not be as reliable as an FJ, but people don’t care. They’ll pay for these because they’re cool! (Cool supersedes reliability to people with ridiculous money to spend)

It may just be your phone or laptop screen, it’s fairly bright in the video from my end. I made sure that anything that needed to be highlighted was, I mean it’s inherently black on the roof so it’s naturally darker.

Smaller tires, less articulation, less horse power, less ground clearance, worse approach and departure angles, with nowhere near as much undercarriage protection? In what world will it be better off-road?

@91pF and in what world has a ford been better off road than a Toyota. We can give it any kind of stat that you want it will still out perform it. This is the absolute best version of a Bronco you can get while the base over trail will out perform it.

Each manufacturer excels and doesn’t excel in particular points but I can guarantee the Lexus GX550 was not designed to be better at off-roading than a Braptor. I told you many ways a Raptor is better than the GX550 all you said was “lol Toyota better”. The only thing the GX550 will have the Raptor beat is on road comfortability.

@91pF Most of what you said was conjecture. The overtrial has better protection underneath the vehicle, and you can put up to a 70 on it without lifting it. You are clearly not in the off reading world if you think a Bronco can compete with a toyota in any shape form or fashion. There are RU-vid channels that have taken both vehicles on the same obstacle, and the Gx has out performed the Bronco. Not the same time it was done when the vehicles were created.

I don't think there is enough room, I know the 4runner has over 6 feet in the back. But ya, big part of the reason for me to have one is road trips. Wait for a huge rebate, a recession is on the way.
