The most the tyranids will be able to do to the imperium is hurt it. The tyranids are like getting bit by a single piranha. It fucking hurts and you'll start bleeding alot but it's not gonna kill you.

Remember, its unconfirmed size aside, it has the intelligence to rival to the massive battle power the imperium can put out, seeing as both deal in warfare across the stars all simultaneously. And unlike the Orks, they do not have an intelligence issue, rather they lack information of the setting they’re in. That is to say, they are known and constantly prove how unfathomably adept they are as a Galaxy spanning predator. And speaking of its intelligence, their course of action is always meticulously calculated, meaning whichever stratagem and planet they encroach upon is deemed to yield biomass is the positives. This is important because it creates a horrifying picture when we add in how the Tyranids entered our galaxy. Tell me, considering all the facts of the video and my comment, what kind of intelligent creature would strike at the prey at multiple galaxy wide angles if they haven’t calculated that they have enough resources to corner their delicious prey? I disagree, I think a large enough of a Nekron force could beat them. The Nekron weapons devastate anything biological and if a nekron is destroyed it just comes back in a new body but leaves nothing for the Tryanids to consume. The fact that the tyranids can't consume them means they have no way of learning about their enemy or adapt to fighting them.

I d say necrons are evil (alliance with the ctan, betrayals, jealousy) The tyrannids are just a force of nature, pure hunger. (And possibly the old ones' ultimate weapon to cleanse and retake the galaxy)

Not really, but a Nurgle cult and death guard were attacking a world, Nids showed up. They turned the planet toxic. A ship drew the short straw of the fleet and had to taste test the planet’s biomass. The ships shot it out of the sky for what the stuff did to it.

Nids or Gene Cults? If you are okay for some gene cult action, you should read "Cult of the Warmason" novel. There wasn't any large skirmish between CSM and Nids in it but it is good.
