Yes, Alux all of this is true. But most of these social media marketers are not contributing anything of value to society. These people are making a ton of money, yes , however most are not advancing society at all. At least capitalism created jobs for people. People could gain job skills and work ethic. But, What good is making money when we do not share it with others in some kind of productive way? This is why the millennials do not see the value and dignity in working. They want to do nothing and get everything. Most of the social media characters that are making the most money are worthless. Yet, the world is making them rich. This truly says something about what we, the masses think about value. Why should Huda be worth so much? What the hell is she doing that is so valued and needed in society? With all of that said, I do not say that the internet is worthless because it is not. As a matter of fact it can be a great tool for learning. But that is only if people desire knowledge and actually see the value in knowledge. If we had more people online that provided the world with something more practical then real value could be created. But as for now, most of the shit on RU-vid, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok is a modern day Vaudeville.

I started my content creator journey about 9 months ago with only a phone. I’m not in a position to invest anything into it even for so much as a decent stand/tripod to film with. I recently just passed 1k subs on TT which opens the opportunity to make pennies (at best) through live streaming. I think you’re wrong… content creation even without a budget is a better strategy than the lottery. In about 2 years from now (assuming I continue to grow as slow as I am growing) I’ll be in a position where more opportunities can present themselves (I may even be able to negotiate consultations with a social following as leverage) where as someone playing the lottery… will statistically; not have won anything significant enough that can lead to increased opportunities.

The statement about keeping your cool because there’s a niche for everyone and using the people who eat lots of food as an example was actually demotivating (for me).
