Hey, another native Russian speaker here! I studied French and English in the university and we discussed your videos and shared them among the students because, well, your speed isn't as fast as French people normally speak, for us, it's insane (at least when we started learning French), plus you switch from English to French and it trains the brain and we as translators have to do the same sometimes, switch from one language to another. On the same topic, my mother is german, I was born in France. She's named Inga, which is already unusual here. But when she explains that it's a surname, she adds her full name that is Ingeborg. French people usually lose their mind there 🙂
hi, I'm another native Russian in this comment section! we learnt French at university, so I had to find someone amusing to improve my language skills!
We English speakers,lol,don't need to learn other languages,we just say it very loud and point. Joking. I'm trying to learn a few sentences in french but for the British brain it's not wired up for that. At least watching Paul Taylor videos teaches you how to say "Fuck You" in French fluently! I must say from this and other ones I've watched Mr Taylor does have a high social grade audience,he gets the A,B s,the architects,the software developers,the entrepreneurs,the you tube content creators,the artists etc. I think if I was studying something as boring as computer science I'd want to do it in Paris.
The second she goes: I am helping in climate change I went: Oh she is one of those people who get off the big corps and invents shit like a "carbon footprint" and voila, you went exactly there!
The sad thing is, people in big corp actually try to abide by doing environmental and energetic studies in their plant to improve And finish by "2 years return on invest? Way too much, won't do it". Maybe she is one of those people. My gf does the energetic studies.
