Backstory: The spider horse from last season created these millions of robots to make this planet habitable because Jerry can't survive here due to high PH levels in the water. During the landing of the robot's drop ship, it's memory and terraforming equipment got scrambled and now thinks it is one of these early aliens

Ok so here's my headcanon: An intergalactic species sent the FR-3Ds to further their research on the behavior of cells. Since all FR-3Ds would require too much energy, they were made to harness energy from plants, the energy being turned into a pink liquid. The reason there are multiple FR-3Ds is cause some are bound to get damaged too much to come back with proper research. Sadly, the creators lost track of all FR-3Ds after their crash in the ocean, and eventually forgot about them. The only pieces of data the FR-3Ds still remember is not to interact with or attack cells, since it may change their behavior and make improper research, and to bring a subject of an extraterrestrial cell back to their creators (backpack boy). The ability of repairing themselves was also given to FR-3D to keep more alive, but the FR-3Ds had malfunctions in repair, making them able to reassemble themselves for walking on land, and making an extra space to keep backpack boy and to sustain their little friend.

Fr-3d were a self evolving race of nano machines created by a long extinct space ferring race once transmission codes from their creators vanished into mere echos the Fr-3ds were forced to adapt themselves like the native creatures of the land

You should name backpack boy Ted, so it's Fred And Ted: season 9

Wait a minute, robot cells? Ok Backstory: there creators sent a spaceship filled with fr-3ds to colonise a planet in advance for their creators, while travelling in space the ship got hit by an asteroid and got crash landed on a different planet, when it got hit the fr-3ds lost their prime directive and reverted to survival mode.

Backstory: FR-3D were adaptable meteorite harvesting nanobots created by a long gone extinct species that is until a few of them were caught in a meteor shower that crash landed on to a nearby planet, with their adaptable abilities they started to mimic the evolution of the native creatures

Back story with a twist : The fr-3ds where actually sent to colonise the entire solar system but then suddenly lost contact with its operators during mission one and managed to Terra form the plant And change the environment specifically made for its kind before it lost all form of intelligence but the smart fr-3ds didn't predict that other life forms would also flourish but before they went dumb too he managed to create a guide system but since he didn't have much time he created a back pack organism that would help him during the creature stage like watching out and repairing the robot with the mineral inside the fruits like I said the fr-3d specifically made the fruits for it to enhance it and the back pack boy actually helps him shoot the lasers by taking heat from the sun one of the things he actually gave the back pack boy was sun obsorion which allows him to take heat from the sun and turn the heat into a laser

I don't know about doing a backstory, but I think this would make sense: You eat fruits and vegetables because you work on a biogenerator, which of course needs biomass. And you communicating with the wildlife would be explained, with you having basically the abilities of C-3PO, meaning you know every single language in the galaxy. I think these are some decent explenations, what do you think

i love the creature on his back idea! its like he has a little friend that he carries around that keeps him company, and/or helps with decisions or something. I wonder if there is a mod that makes it so that only your creature can have certain features, and not your whole species. as for names, maybe Gorp, or Grop, or something. just spitballing here

Backstory: A highly intelligent civilization decided to send the FR-3D robot to a neighboring planet. The FR-3D's main goal was to survey the surrounding cells from an unknown planet to gather information, neutralizing any identified hostile cells if need be with their weapons. The FR-3D's were equipped with AI that allows it to adapt to its environment. because of a mechanical malfunction, the rocket the robots were sent with crash landed and the FR-3D's chip and main functions were destroyed due to the impact causing the robot to only have partial functionality rendering its weapon useless. The emergency systems built inside the robot activated and made the robot survive the crash, but with its chip destroyed it did not know its purpose and has to rely to its AI to survive.

The 3D stand for 3 dimension because his creator have achieved the technologies to go in more dimension than 3 and it is an auto replicant robot made out of nanite so he can infect food to transform it to nanite to grow up and replicate

Maybe Fred injects a chemical into the backpack boy that multiplies organic matter by 5 times, this excess organic matter is used as fuel for Fred the robot and the veggies that Fred eats is used to nourish the backpack boy

It's look like a frog But the story can be that he is a colonisator robot from your last season and you have to multiply yourself to colonise it for your first creator but you decide to colonise yourself for your species and make the entire universe in peace (the grox to it's possible)

Backstory: FR-3D is a robot dropped to spy on ninetopia but a cell atacked him and his memory card dropped in the water and then he adapted to The planet 🤪

My personal headcanon is that another species sent out 5 FR-3D robots to a nearby solar system to investigate the life there. After the rocket crash landed in the ocean, all the data got fried and most of the programming was reset, though a few lines of code survived. The 5 FR-3D robots were equipped with a scanning gun for scanning wildlife, a pinkoline engine that could convert plants into fuel, a speaker and microphone to record the wildlife and communicate, and a 3D printer for printing clones of the original 5 (this is why 3D is in the name). With it’s 3D printer, it could upgrade itself with newer and better parts and make modifications to it’s body. These robots are friendly to the wildlife to not trigger any unatural behavior and result with bad research. The robots have extra space in their bodies to support a cell and bring it back to it’s makers for further investigation.

Foreign Recon drones were deployed by the unusual inhabitants of Seasono Fouro for two main purposes. To collect valuable telemetry on Xeno lifeforms and to test the limits of recursive self-modification in both hardware and software. However, the Moderoid in all their calculations could not predict a single asteroid knocking the 3rd deployment so far off course that they drifted deep into a neighbouring galaxy. Far from home and unable to fulfil their main objective the Foreign Recon-3rd Deployment drones decided that self-determination would best facilitate their unpredictable needs. As they are currently, the peak of their adaptation has resulted in their onboard aquatic study chambers housing an unusual race of calm symbionts allowing the FR-3Ds to mimic organic emotions that their creators were able to keep from their ascension.

maybe his name, because it was named by his creators, with the intent of exploration, and research, named him Field Robot. and then the 3D is because he can make 3D scans of the environment, and track things in 3d. just a suggestion

Description: FR-3D is a cell sized robot made for exploration and examination by being dispersed through small asteroid-looking shuttles to learn more about space wild life so the *SPECIES REDACTED* may get more answers to the questions we all ask to this day. The FR-3D's usually come in the thousands to numbers that don't even have names depending on the size of the planet. They also have weapons that are visible on the serface and ones under there metal shell's but only use them when absolutely needed and still rearly used. They grow over time when given more knowledge which also means they have some sort of organic abilities to them and when they grow smart enough to leave planet they then get two objectives: exploring the other planets (only given the command when manufactured) or they go back to home world where data is collected by the *SPECIES REDACTED* and are reseted to be sent to a different world once more.

Fr-3d was a kind of destruction robot sent by the grox to colonize and possibly destroy a distant planet , once a model started to feel nice he spread that kindness to the other robots, and leaving the grox behind

Backstory: in the last season you had a quest of stolen robots/droids and after the enemy ship flew it expolded in a war and you are one of the survivers but to survive you was needed to transform yourself onto a robot

The FR-3D company sent out a team of robots to a planet to scavenge for materials but the ship landed in water and clogged the memory of the robots they only remember that they need materials but they don't know what for.

simplified backstory: the rocket pod is meant to keep constant repair on FR-3D but when it crashed it accidentally made many others so now the world has the OG FR-3D (the one you play as) and the copies made by the rocket pod.

btw. unless you have amod for it, the speed does not increase with more components. in the vanilly og game the number in your stats also didnt increse. so max speed was having 1 of the pushi things. everything else is visual only.

This game still lives? I remember how much I played it when I was about 5. This game is one of the best games Ive ever played.

Suggestion for an appearance towards the end of the creature stage: Maybe you should go for an Iron Giant type of look when you reach the next stage

I think it would be awesome if you could get permission from the mod authors to make a full mod pack, so the viewers can download the mods you have in one go. I know you change the mods between seasons, but I know a lot of them are the same (Dark injections, infinite complexity, etc.), and those are the ones that a lot of people seem to want to try out, and are only put off by the process of modding them all in individually. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to do though, or even if it's actually possible in the first place.

Maybe you could make them resentful to their creators (in this case the Spider Jarrys) and become more avian or bird-like because birds eat insects, or spiders in this case

I just started watching your videos and loving it. If it's not too late I would love to add the story I have in mind of Fr-3d. Fr(friendly robo) was sent to "destroy" ninetopia. On the way, his ship broke and chunks of him was scattered. He don't remember anything but he had to collect chunks of him to become whole again. That was when Fr meets 3D or Ed. They became great friends and became one.

My head canon: Fr-3d was one of many robots they were all the same just with different code. they had 2 types 1a:protecting and caring for babies and 2b:These are also for protection but by different means through Violence these were not as loving 1a’s. You see Fr-3d was a 2b he had no emotion he couldn’t feel any thing but on 1 day the creatures that made him the San-z7Z they decided for him to carry and help a baby but more specifically the last baby. Quickly they re-in coded his code but in there Heist of re-programming they glitch him out his name glitched into the newest version 3d this type could be torn to shreds And even with the tinyest spec of rust it can grow backin fact it multiplys but more importantly it could learn it could adapt it can grow.any ways then they sent him going into the middle of space hoping he would land on a planet full of lush environments. 469 days later after multiple time being torn to a sell he finally landed and the rest is history.

Cell stage: FR-3D is a robot, a very special robot that has human like abilities (grow like a human, feed his or her self by eating and smelting down normal food for fuel) his creators are unknown species From another galaxy that sent a tiny spaceship containing FR-3D to this galaxy on the way the ship malfunctioned and crashed on a planet named Ninetopia but when the ship crashed FR-3D's hard drive got badly damaged causing him to forget everything about him self and others Land stage: on the way to dry land, FR-3D meets a strange wounded creature drowning, he decides to help it and puts his little friend on backpack life support machine(LOL). The creature seems to need food so FR-3D has to feed him, Fred slowly learns how to rebuild him self so he had a great idea of scavenging stuff to build more FR-3D's Tribe stage: He has made lots of FR-3D's by now but not every FR-3D is the same FR-3D so he has to either defend him self or try to make them understand the ways of FR-3D City stage: pretty much the same as tribe accept he has enough FR-3D's to make whole cities later he thought he wanted to go to space since he always wondered what that huge bolder was beside his planet so he builds a masterful ship that works like a charm Space stage: He discovers that his planet isnt the only livable place in the universe so he sets out meeting new people, trying his best to be friends with everyone

I have a backstory:Fred was just a robot relaxing on a robot ship with his friends,Ted,Ned,Bred. They were all having a great time until a enemy robot clan sent a huge rocket at their ship making them crash land here. And now their memories got wiped out because of the damage. Most robots died, some survived and that’s why you see them in the ocean trying to strive. They are all herbivores and the spores in the ocean were part of their ship that crashed.

Fred is an nanite and they gave him the ability to self replicate so when he was in the air he will suffer heating a lot because of the weird stuff out there was giving him a lot of damage so he can't rub selfrope okay like nanites but the more he upgrades himself he eventually gained the ability to reproduce but when he crash landed he lost all of them

I am strangely very invested in the future adventures FR-3D and Backpack-Boy.

I think that Fred got lonely on the planet and made more of himself.

"Field Robot - Third Division" is what FR-3D stands for. An alien race from far away created pacifist robots to land on other planets and search them to bring back information and new resources. This is the third expedition of droids they have released. However they hit a meteor on their way and crash landed, forgetting their mission, losing contact eith their leaders and starting to inhabit the land and make their own robots to avoid dying out.

I think I got a good story for FR-3D: In the future they made a self evolving robot, and they sent them to an other planet to test them there so they won't hurt humans. They named it: Project FR-3D. But while they were wanting to send them to an other plant an asteroid hit the ship and they crash landed. Edit: BackPack Boy story: BackPack Boy was a helping device for FR-3D that helped to think for multiple tasks and because of that FR-3D was able to multitask, but because of the crash land BackPack Boy was damaged making it nearly useless.

We have FR-3D and SD-M4(scout droid mark four). SD-M4 is used to observe and scout around the planet to see who should be socialized with, and who shouldn't.

Back story: Fred is a genetically modified organism that once lived on a different planet but the spider horses from season 8 abducted and fused him with robot parts to make him friendly and colonize another planet so they can stabilize a dying population and a dying planet with peace something the spider horses couldn't accomplish themselves.

their backstory can be: a space ship with loads of FR-3D's crash landed in the water it was a very hard crash which messed with the robots memory and Fred is thriving with the others, think of the breeding as the robots adding new parts onto you to better thrive! (thats my story)

There was a spaceship that crashed landed in water with ice blocks with a lot of Fred's who got out. Fred and his friends all got separated except for some of them and Fred is on a journey to help find them but he lost his memory so he forgot that that was his journey =)

FR-3D was a nanoprobe sent to colonize by an alien empire. The robots went rogue and started multiplying with all the extra metallic chunks from the rocket crash. The robot species lost its memory and has the illusion of being a regular species. But something was always off but the couldn’t pin point it. As their high resistance to attackers and weather extremes,they didn’t need weapons and focused on being friendly.

In another galaxy... A nother species, they make FR-3D, they send multiple of him to investigate all the planets in galaxy 67-HJ. they first have to grow because there small, but when they eat plants, the flesh and plants become pink gas and make FR-3D's bigger. and the robots, have a pilot, to control the FR-3D's. Then they start exploring. They have taken millions of galaxies, now they start to take over 67-HJ.

FR-3D's main survivability ability is to use and multiply the iron in vegetables and fruits to make upgrades and other FR-3D's, renewing the walls of itself very often to decrease rust and oxidation, as well as defense and durability. The multiplied iron can be used to directly make other robots, medicine, armory and weaponry. Iron is also used directly for pink fuel that extracts energy from sunlight and mantains the robot running. Grabbed a creature and put it in its back, taking care of it. Pattern recognition and imitation, as well as order responsibility is helpful in socialization with creatures. Adaptation comes from danger and seeing what other creatures do. Friendly Resonance - 3-Material Defense, extraction and multiplication

The FR-3D’s are a group of bio mechanical robots created by the Grox to evolve and take over the universe. However the FR-3D’s when they crashed on the planet were disconnected by the Grox’s world mind, making them forget about their violent ways. The Grox’s greatest weapons become the very thing they hate the most, friendly creatures.

Late to the party, but I got another idea for that "backpack boy". Matrix style! It's an electrical energy production device for FR-3D. Wich in return provides protection or something for it, wich makes it a symbiotical relationship for the both of them.

Maybe the back pack boy is the thing that lays the eggs and then the FR-3Ds build a FR-3D around it

Freds are microscopic robots that were made to fix the ship they are living on, you don't evolve, you just put the scrap on your body.

The backstory The scientists didn't send one research robot but an entire team of research robots when they crashed it reseted what they were programmed to do in the planet. That's my backstory Teras hd.

Fred's back story: The spider horse empire built robots to watch life. The robots were actually suits for advanced microbes (The little thing on fred's back) whit a adapting system to adap to their soroundings. We do not see the microbes in fres in cell stage because they are covered by the suit to protect them. The spider horse empire found an T-0 planet and made it habitable, after that they sent a asteroid whit many creatures, between them there was the microbes whit the suits, they were sent to that planet to evolve. The suits did the job to evolve, and the microbes did not have any need to evolve, they only evolved their size and brains. They were even equipped whit a reproduction system, the suits consumed plants / fruits and the foods were made into organic metal, electricity was absorbed by the lightings since there is no way that in 2 and a half billion years not be a thunder storm and one lighting bolt would not drop in water. Once they got to land they adapted to make new fuel by using you guessed it plants. The suits do not have actually a mind of their own, the microbes control them. You may ask how do the microbes get the food? Simple. Tubes were connected in the microbe's stomach (Idk if its possible). The mouth on the head of the robot grabbed the food, then made it in tiny parts, after that giving it to the microbes. This is the story of fred.

lore for FR-3D: the FR-3 units are mass-produced research units specifically designed to study the behaviour, feeding habits and evolution of single-celled organisms. The FR series is unique among robots in the fact that they dont rely on materials that conduct elcticity, instead they get all their energy from biological matter. Unit FR-3D stands out due to an error in its AI that causes it to, instead of hunt animaloids, process plant matter. This AI error rapidly spread across the entire FR-3 population on its planet, with it culminating in the units willingly allowing the native life-forms into their energy cells and merging with them. Merging with a biological organism has its consequences, and in the case of the FR-3 units it caused the DNA of the symbiotic cells to fuse with the AI and induce evolution. At this current point in time the FR-3 units are growing massively in size and now are multiple times larger than their original forms. The symbiotic aliens have also grown in size, now being unable to survive out side of their homes inside the machines. They also serve a critical purpose of converting floral matter to energy and o remove them would spell the end for both. This is perhaps one of the most fascinating examples of haywire robots melding themselves with biological life, and perhaps one of the least grotesque.

I forgot to add another part to the backstory so the spaceship crash that time and in the spaceship they have a lot of robots like imagine one of the robots broke down and a new one will come out but the spaceship broke so the robots are free

Backstory: the back story should be they sent the Fred's to the planet to examine the life and be aggressive but the water messed with their systems and made them friendly because they didn't fully waterproof them

Going the pacifist route on hard mode is gonna be damn near impossible, since most of the other creatures in later stages will be violent

Backstory: Fr-3d and Ted were getting lonely, so they made more Fr-3ds to populate their home, and their creations found a nest of Teds, bonding with them, and build more of themselves to repopulate.

Humans created Fred's to find life on other planets and collect samples, but the rocket exploded and the Fred's couldn't contact the humans or remember their objective.
