One of the most powerful films ever. So glad the two leads are still alive, if only they could reunite..."When we're you gonna tell me, when we were 90?" ...which won't be for another 7 years still :)
Personally, I am impressed with the movie, "The Front," and it tells a wonderfully powerful story that resonates with a theme about a very terrible period in American history. Impressive script by Walter Bernstein and performances by Woody Allen and others, particularly the actors that were blacklisted and including the film's director as well. Bravo!

Wow, this film suffers from the TV MASH syndrome. In the early 1950's, all men wore pomade in their hair. It was greased back, not blow dried. If you're doing a period piece film you have to deal with the suspension of disbelief. Disbelief. You have to do more than the soundtrack music. Even the costumes didn't look period.
