Just wondering why there's a nurse present during the exam? When I had mine, there was a nurse present, but she was looking down at this iPad thing most of the time. Granted, it was still embarrassing to have her there as well.
It is faster to have a scribe write down all dictated procedures, exams and findings, than to have the doctor interrupt the exam to write down the same info.
Nurse does not need to be present dr can dictate all finds and procedures carried out on to recording device and a secretary could type it out later. This frees up a nurse from clerical duties improves the visit from a male modesty position and by doing this more males would be less reluctant to go through with such an intimate exam
The dermatologist does not need a scribe. She can note the visit on a smart phone. Also, scribe is not a nurse. It is a medical assistant. Doctors constantly lie to patients about that third person in the room they are not nurses.
