I want to see a completely UNBIASED make up test. Like have James cover all the labels on the packaging and just use and test the products and not associate it with a brand. Like "Full Face Mystery Products."
It’s her job to be entertaining yet people complain about her being dramatic, but when she has a calmer day, people get mad that she doesn’t seem into it 😩😩😩 love the honest review and how she recommends other drug store dupes
Just a thought: she liked the highlighter, the lip products, and the eye products... she doesn't have to like and use everyone the way you want her to. I'm a new subscriber and many of your subscribers are overly critical.

I love the way you do these reviews. Even though the thought of 7-Eleven makeup is a little wacky, you take it so seriously. You make an effort to actually use all of the products and give them a fair shot. I love that you provide valid reasons of you don't like the products either. Methoxycinnamate is uvb filter. Its an organic/chemical filter which absorbs hrmful rays from the sun, protecting your skin. You want it in your BB crem tati. Titanium Dioxide is an inorganic/physical filter which blocks harmful rays from the sun, protecting your skin. Aqua Glycerin is something which hydrates the skin. I'm guessing what the Benzo one is Avobenzone which is another organic/chemical filter which absorbs harmful rays from the sun, protecting your skin. All of the ingredients you listed above make sense to be part of a BB cream. I havent watched further in the video, but based purely on the ingredients it should work well enough. Of course, since its skincare ymmv since certain peoples skin are more sensitive than others.
As a scientist I second this comment. Everything organic is a chemical. But for sunscreens, chemical refers to how the sunscreen works-the ingredients “react” with UV rays. Physical sunscreens reflect UV rays. I super simplified that but hopefully that helps.

I usually read the comments and I feel like a loving community, but today not so much. For what it's worth Tati is my FAVORITE RU-vidr/beauty queen. Aside from that I think that Tati has always been honest and genuine with her reviews. Just because some of the items didn't work for her does not mean they will not work for you. Personally I feel Tati does the best at describing what the products are for, who they would look the best on, and even going the extra mile to tell you better recommendations for the same price. Just because she can afford and try high-end makeup does not mean she doesn't love any "cheap" makeup. Tati does a great job at what she does! She works very hard to make her subscribers happy and uploads useful/fun content. I love being able to jump on RU-vid and see that Tati has uploaded a new video. No matter how my day was going she always brings a smile to my face. Love you Tati! Keep doing what your doing! Xoxo💋💋💋

Mmmm no, that’s dumb. The fact that it’s from 7-11 and low in price should definitely give the makeup some leeway, especially if being compared to HIGH-END products that cost way more. Prices should come into consideration when criticizing.

She cares about the actual consistency of the product, how the product works, etc. It doesn’t matter if it is Tom Ford or from a gas station she gives it an equal chance. I don’t see anything dumb about my comment, what I do see is a negative person needing attention. Camden Murray I see you have some problems with you’re and your/they’re and their. Should probably work on that. + didn’t say you were dumb, just that it’s dumb to say that something from Tom Ford and something from the gas station should be judged equally. High end obviously should be critiqued more strictly due to high prices, as for something cheap at the gas station should be less judged considering it is.... from the gas station.

Im just wondering if Im watching the same video as all the people who find this video negative. She tried all the stuff, has an opinion about it, liked and disliked different things, offers other budget choices and is being herself. That doesn't sound snobby to me at all.. I don't have a 7/11 in my country but I did enjoy the video!
I thought she meant cotton candy flavored slurpee but then was so shook when she went at it with her fingers and it had the weirdest consistency I’ve ever seen for a slurpee but then it all made sense. She meant actual cotton candy 🤦🏻♀️ my bad hahaha
Going to freak you out here but I have to say it. Any ice machine in a restaurant has a problem with buildup and mold . The restaurant I work in actually has a person come in every few weeks to clean them as well as we bleach the drained grates and spouts or sometimes run the spouts and grates through a sanitizer besides wiping down the machine. I know there are some restaurants that dont do this, so I never get ice.those lip colors on this video were awesome though🙂
Hey Tati! Just wanted to tell you thank you for making your videos. You have such a calming but entertaining presence and it helps a lot when I go to bed since I have really bad paranoia. Not to say you're boring, just so calming and nice to listen to.
Honestly it turns out that I love this light makeup look on you. It makes you look so much younger and fresher. But makeup is a choice and everybody has different tastes on it. Keep going Tati.

Check out the above discussions about sunscreens and how organic chemistry is not based upon hydrocarbons but only carbon. And how metals are and I quote " molecules". I don't know why this gets to me bc not everyone studied chemistry, orgo, inorganic, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemistry, computational chemistry, etc. I need to calm down. Seriously.
Oh, I totally hear you. We always discuss in our lab how people just don't understand chemistry & just because they can't pronounce something they think it's bad. Do you follow Dr. Dray on RU-vid? She's a dermatologist who doesn't hold back when talking about chemicals in cosmetics. I love her videos.
Just go to the actual dollar tree. They have good makeup for a dollar and have some pale shades and mine actually has pretty dark shades. (Sometimes everything is just the weird tan color) but they have good lipsticks/eyeshadows/translucent powder
Love them! The new blush brush is less dense than the original i find it perfect for highlighters. I get them often on sale at Rite Aid. Or order on website. 😍
I think with hooded eyes extreme wings don't work. And lining the whole upper lid is a bad idea because it takes away the limited space we have. I feel the best rule is to stop in the middle of the lid and do your lashline and waterline then wing it out. It gives more space while having a nice wing!

I feel like the concept behind 7 eleven makeup is that if you forgot something that you need on the go you can just grab one of theirs and hopefully make it work in a pinch. I can't imagine anyone wearing a full face of this stuff every day.

A lot of women can't afford makeup and there aren't many very low budget options besides Dollar Tree brands, so I think it's great that they came out with this and not just for makeup emergencies!

Queen Rylock agreed. I just started watching and I find it comforting. She is great at what she does. Not boring at all. It's nice to see someone the same age as me doing age appropriate makeup. Not some teen millennial.
As an organic chemist, it's painful for me to watch you read out that ingredient list and assume everything is bad just because you can't pronounce it/aren't familiar with what it is. Most of those ingredients are commonly found in all BB creams, sunscreens and foundations. Please don't turn into one of those people who think chemicals = inherently bad because everything (even water) is a chemical!!
bchung it's painful for me too. she could be a bit more educated ingredients wise. and she wants to start her own line, i think it's necessary to know a bit of the chemistry and ingredients behind it. that itchy feeling she described was maybe placebo effect. but it's her life and she does how she likes, her choice.
I totally agree- it's Tati's life and she is free to do whatever she wants! That being said, she has a HUGE platform and her words literally influence millions of people. Misinformation or perpetuating ideas that have little basis to them (other than what companies market to the consumers) is what really grinds my gears. Tati is not the only beauty RU-vidr who does this and I really don't mean to single her out!

Hi Tati, there's a new brand in Walgreens called CYO. They have a Long Lasting Foundation and claims to be "Lifeproof." can you please review this and see if it is a good product?
I work for them and my store is pretty good about keeping things really clean. The sad thing is that it’s not just slurpee machines. Basically any restaurant or store whatever that has a fountain drinks isn’t the cleanest. Especially the ice part unfortunately
I work at Wendy's. Every night we tear down the frosty machines and sanitize them. We do clean the nozzle area of the freestyle but we can't take it apart to clean the insides
Agreed I’ve worked in a few fast food restaurants & most people wouldn’t clean the drink machines at all. Jimmy johns is the only place I ever worked that required everyone to every night at close.

I love a non-wing look, Tati! I personally don't do winged liner too often, it's like a once in a while thing for me. I tend to prefer a nice blend of colourful eyeshadows and big lashes, sometimes lining just along the lashline 😊 Very helpful and thorough video, you look gorgeous! Just watched Manny's video on the 7-11 makeup and it surprised me how much better Tati made it work. Not trash talking Manny at all! I know some things just doesn't work for some, but Tati is just so talented! She opened my eyes for makeup Keep up the great work!
