The Vigilante prison scene in ep.4 is one of the greatest things I've ever watched.

Peacemaker was James Gunn 100% unbridled, unchained, and unleashed and it was one of the most amazing pieces of entertainment I've ever watched.

Watched you for time Kevin, not really a big comment person but just wanted to say your heart really is on your sleeve and it's always a joy to watch you and hear your passion for everything creative & nerdy. Bless ye bro

God James Gunn is just a fucking legend. The way this man has twisted the comic book genre to his deranged, fascinating, character driven mind is just so God Damn inspiring.

Peacemaker is a masterpiece. It takes risks, pushes buttons, makes you think, hits you in the feels, but also makes you smile, and laugh. Awesome interview. James Gunn is incredible, love what he and the Peacemaker cast and crew created: a work of art. Cannot wait for season 2

I coincidentally watched the original live action TMNT with my daughter the same day that I binged the full series of Peacemaker, and it gave me a really good chuckle to have Master Splinters speech to Danny about how "All fathers love their children" in my head while watching Auggie Smith just exist in general.

One of the amazing things about Peacemaker is how James Gunn writes real characters that exist in real life (racists, etc) and then plays against them (thinking about the prison scene with Peacemakers dad and Vigilante).

Smith has been one of my favourite filmmakers for nearly thirty years and Gunn has joined those ranks over the last decade. Great interview with two excellent dudes.

There's a question missing from the interview: Will the extended and uncut versions of all of the improv scenes be released? I sincerely hope so. I guess John was listing celeb names for like a half-hour to frame instead of Chris' dad and he was popping the whole cast.

Gunns films always come off like high budget, well written, well directed and well cast Troma flicks. Like, The Toxic Avenger, but good.

Suicide squad is definitely one of my favorite dc movies along with peacemaker being one of my new favorite dc shows, and you can see how much he worked on those 2 projects he shot them back to back and went into TSS with brown hair

I said this on the clip I’ll say it again. I like suicide squad. Didn’t change my life but it was cool. But I am a huge James Gunn fan. When I saw peacemaker came out I was like you gotta be kidding me. But I didn’t know he made it …. I literally put it on as background noise to fall asleep. By the next day it’s my favorite tv show in a long long time. Hands down greatest opening to a show EVER. I wanted to hate this show but there is no way you can. I’m already rewatching it and going into a depression cause this shows about the only thing that’s made me this happy for a long time.
