The way the music's tone changes and the dark fog creeps in as soon as the game itself realises what has happened is equal parts hilarious and terrifying
Everything about this moment is so perfect. The crazy tension building up during the climb, the triumphant orchestral music when he finally reaches the top, while the creature dramatically turns around as if to say "Look at this. We survived, and we did it together", only for Jack to be yeeted off the cliff with a tiny "AH" as the music stops and the screen fades out like "Oh... well, that sucks for you" XD
Oh but this clip should have been longer. The amount heart stopping moments running across a collapsing bridge before this part made the fall even more hilarious.
To this day the last guardian has been the only game to actually make me get emotional playing it. Truly a masterpiece of a game everything about it is stunning.
YES! I cried for such a long time at the end… this game is PHENOMENAL. I really felt like I was forming a bond with Trico in real life too. I tried to replay it recently but it glitched and I couldn’t get past a certain part (tried several times) which was SO frustrating because I was really looking forward to playing through this extraordinary game again. I can’t even put my love of this game into words, but it was just so frigging beautiful
I remember watching this when he played it and couldn't stop laughing. I even called my sister into the room to see it! Loved this game so much. I really did cry at the end!
I died the exact same way five years ago and I got so pissed off that such an epic moment was ruined that I uninstalled the game and I haven't played it since.
I remember this part I was literally crying of laughter for like 15 mins and watched the clip like 10 times I couldn’t even finish it that day my head was hurting to much😂😂😂

The way that little boy fell looks so much like an intended hilarious scene from comedy movies, the fact that it wasnt even planned as a funny element by the game itself, made me laugh so hard
When I first saw this all that time ago, I burst out laughing so god damn hard I could barely breathe. All the drama and the action, then woo! they're safe, and suddenly the kid just goes flying off like a ragdoll with the startled "Uwahh!", I mean poor kid but holy crap that was funny XD

@@MochaNeko I mean I see what you mean, but how *_do_* you confuse youtube with twitch, and also there is a link to the full video in the description meaning this comment was pointless in two ways, as if they were smarter, they would have seen that this is youtube and not twitch, assuming that is what they thought. and also I know it's like a meme that people don't read the description but come on, they watched this video, was reminded of good times, and instead of trying to look it up on youtube at all, the first thing they did was scroll PAST the thing telling them what video it was from, and make a comment that would make others believe that they thought the full video was gone. I mean they didn't even ask us, other commenters, if we had the video, they full-on assumed that Jack himself was the ONLY person to still have a copy of a video that in their mind was GONE. and if calling them "dumb" for all that stuff they did was a little harsh, then uhhh ok bro.
Honestly this is exactly how it goes when you’re proud of your accomplishment and then BAM life happens. You build that deck of cards tower? Tornado. You survive a fall off a giant ledge from a big beautiful beast, just for said beast to Yeet you off the ledge.
