I don't know which one is the correct translation but I prefer the translation I read when the future devil told Aki that he will die a horrible death. It makes you much more uncomfortable, especially after the string of deaths we've encountered so far. This makes one think he will at least die in a blaze of glory.

Think how much power an enterprising individual would have with the future devil. He would know which stocks would rise and fall and which crises would happen. He would easily become the richest person on the planet and could fund prosthesis research into whatever limbs and organs he lost in the deal. As his influence grows he could give the future devil whatever sacrifices it desired in exchange for even more power.
