Vangelis has done a huge number of albums. Most of them quite in the realm of SciFi. Try Spiral and Albedo 0.39 for a taster. Albedo as I recall is the percentage of light reflected from a celestial body and the Albedo of Earth is 0.39.
@@novasrain2126 YES! I did finish it, only in the way DaVinci told us art is never 'finished' but merely abandoned. Go find it if you are so compelled to. It's a noir mystery after all...
I love both Bladerunner movies. They touch my melancholy soul. But that's just it. That's my take. There are lots of other great sci fi movies. Moon was dope. 2001 pretty neato. Contact. And, yeah, Star Wars appeals to the grade schooler in me f'sho.
Probably my favorite movie of all time, because of the stellar: Soundtrack, actors, scenery and the beyond-action-movie realization that you are being confronted by a powerful, deep question--what makes us human? But even if none of the above had been parts of this stellar, haunting masterpiece, it is still my favorite because it blends two of my favorite genres, brilliantly. '30's detective film noir, set in the future...
Hey buddy, this is simply supernatural. It puts you in a zone transcending all wordly turmoil and it almost makes you feel that you are being protected, guarded and guided by a divine presence at all times. You are doing a service knowingly or unknowingly by resting peoples mind in this world which needs it the most. Happy to have found your channel! Best.

this floats well with the waterfalls and bamboo whisperings in the breeze in my backyard. so when I bring it in and replay it, I can still hear the waterfalls and bamboo even though they are still outside. a very nice way to smooth off the rough edges of my little caramelized brain cell. many many appreciations to flow to you
This world won't come to be. Our current way of life isn't sustainable. Before the end of the century massive depopulation will have occurred due to the climate crisis and all the problems it will cause. 2200 will look a lot more like the 18th century than today. The peak of human existence technology wise, it's now and the next maybe 30 years. Oil will run out before the end of the century and that will throw such a wrench in the technological possibilities (without oil the costs to make anything will skyrocket) that the tech will stagnate and possibly even go backward eventually. Revel in your time.
Well, we are living through some truly crazy history. So for those who keep whining about being born too early this or that, appreciate what you are living through right now. And maybe take part in history. Hopefully, freedom will prevail.
“My soul, where are you? Do you hear me? I speak, I call you - are you there? I have returned, I am here again. I have shaken the dust of all the lands from my feet, and I have come to you, I am with you. After long years of long wandering, I have come to you again. Should I tell you everything I have seen, experienced, and drunk in? Or do you not want to hear about all the noise of life and the world? But one thing you must know: the one thing I have learned is that one must live this life. Do you still know me? How long the separation lasted! Everything has become so different. And how did I find you? How strange my journey was! What words should I use to tell you on what twisted paths a good star has guided me to you? Give me your hand, my almost forgotten soul. How warm the joy at seeing you again, you long disavowed soul. Life has led me back to you. Let us thank the life I have lived for all the happy and all the sad hours, for every joy, for every sadness. My soul, my journey should continue with you. I will wander with you and ascend to my solitude.”
INCREÍBLE!!!!! MI MENTE SE TRANSPORTÓ AL FUTURO EN EL TIEMPO QUE ESTUVE ESCUCHANDO LA MUSICA. ESPECTACULAR... MUCHAS GRACIAS POR TU APORTE. ME SUSCRIBO A TU CANAL.
I love the soundtrack we got for 2049, but it could have used more of these long ethereal pieces that appear to be stuck somewhere. Stuck in the atmosphere of the movie maybe? It would have fit the wandering and slow pace of the movie. Would have been a nice contrast to the fog horns.
Thank you so much for all of these. You have no idea how much this means to me. If I could afford a Moog, this is what I would make. Hours upon days of this.
Only replicants will survive - in a city without birds and trees. No sky, no clouds, just haze. I love that sound, i have to admit, but 2049- i will not reach.
100+ years of sleeping and waking up. Knowing everyone you know is dead. Staring at a blue dwarf. Tomorrow you land on a planet with a new jungle underneath a blue sky or a white star. Together with 5 crew members, an Artis / architectt, computer engineer, communication / engineer, doctor, writer, genetically motified dog named NIAd. A computer system named Chuem. You cry first. No light speed, this was the solution.

his scoring of Sicario was really good and made me feel the movie. it obviously won't be the same without Vangelis. denis villeneuve and roger deakins and the cast are a good sign that BL2 will be great.
Totally agree with everything you're saying here. Sicario was amazing in theaters and you literally could feel the music. I have hope for Blade Runner 2. I'm hoping Arrival is awesome and I'm curious about that score as well.
Sergio Díaz I'll try to find the name of original track from the 100s of time stretched tracks present on my computer. as soon as I can find time from my day. btw it is not from blade runners original ost
