It's #NCBD at the raddest #LCS in LA (and maybe the country), Revenge Of Comics, and Pinball. Part comic shop, pinball arcade, & spaceship. They might have the answer to what shops need to thrive.

Awesome idea for a comic book store! A true hangout spot. Unfortunately California is on the other side of the country from me. But I’m sure this would be great for teens and young adults to start forming an interest in comics while hanging out with friends. Bring this to the East coast!

stores that are really into magic the gathering game nights have this vibe where you kinda can hang out with a bunch of geeky souls, some comic stores mix that in but yea comic shops in general need to create more hang out cafe vibes/environments

Great place to hang and solid vibes but it's not really a comic shop. No back issues to sift through and they have a limited new comic stock. Go for the hang but definitely not the comics.

if you don't collect comics this could be a place that gets non readers to read.... having comics in 2nd/3rd places is a great idea

Only crappy thing about it is the location. Parking is horrible and who tf likes going to Eagle rock/Glassell park for anything else?

parking is not great, but if you're in the area there's a dvd rental place called videotheque not too far that has more movies than you can imagine. old, new, vintage, cult, foreign, anime, rare, you name it. def worth checking out if you're in the area
